Eight years ago today, Chris and I were married.

It has been an amazing ride. Wonderful, stressful, fulfilling, challenging, amazing. Without the two of us coming together there would be no little Simon dude. My life would not be the same without Chris. I doubt I would be doing what I do. We support each other, cheer each other on, and challenge one another to live up to our potential and beyond. We are friends. We are companions. And so much more.

We enable each other to follow the passions in our hearts and minds. Now that, that is an amazing gift.

Marriage is such an interesting journey. The ups and downs and ins and outs. The waking up next to each other and putting one foot in front of the other even when it seems like the craziest thing in the world. Of couse, it never really is easy...but it is worth it. Chris is worth it. Simon is worth it. And I am worth it.
