I just read yesterdays post and I can relate to that feeling too. I need and crave less, yet I want more.
The garbage bags are an inspired idea. He he he

Hey Ali!
I just want to share the same experience I had yesterday. Yesterday was my moving day and I realized as I was going through things, I have lots of things that are of no use, (quoting you), no meaning and no goodness. I was recently addicted to just "buying patterned papers" and they keep adding up. And when recently I combine all the papers together to be put in 1 box for ease of moving--- I realize how heavy they are and it's time to stop buying and start using them.
By the way -- I bought the "PROOF" book that you had published on the september CK magazine from maya road.
So....that goes to conclude this comment: I'm gonna use my excess pattern paper to make something on the chipboard album from maya road!
(thanks so much for all the tips you've been replying to my emails. I really appreciate it)

I love those stretchy ones the most! I filled 1 huge black lawn and leaf stretchy bag with just stuff from my daughter's bedroom. That was just trash! We have another going for clothes for goodwill. Man! It feels good to purge and have a clean, organized space!

Funny how coming home from time away, makes you look at your space differently. I always feel that way after a vacation or a few days away.

I need to thank you! I have been working feverishly on a home maintanance list and declutter schedule...the list is so cool but I just could not get motivated to DO it. So just like the good ol' NIKE slogan...JUST DO IT! I am doing it. Yes, me too, a total love affair with the garbage bags and also empty Diet Coke boxes filled with donations for thrift shops! Wheee let's JUST DO IT!!

Ali,
yeah for purging - I'm in the process to!
But what I really want to know is which "cool" park is it? We are in Eugene also and would love to take my boy A to a new park. Could you let us know? Thanks!!

Yes, but be careful! I've heard on more than one occasion of the wrong bag being put out with the trash... as in, Goodwill didn't really want the coffee grounds and used Pull-Ups, and where the heck are the summer shoes I was putting in storage in the basement? Didn't happen to me, but a friend once.
It must be great to be home- and I'll take your example and do some purging today too. It's a great time of year to clean out things- new beginnings and all!
