Normal Saturday.
Tags:Right now I am enjoying a completely uneventful, "normal" Saturday morning. Chris is reading the paper. We are watching some of Simon's favorite videos (including an old Jack Hannah baby animal video). The coffee pot is half empty as we enjoy each and every cup. Chris thought it was a bit strong this morning - I thought it was just right. Lily is sleeping on the floor - all sprawled out but never too far from her favorite bone.
There is something so awesome about "normal." In a bit we are heading to the bank and then the grocery store. I am hoping to add a Trader Joe trip in on the errands as well. They always have good flowers there.
This afternoon Chris will head out walking door to door again. I will work - finishing up a column and putting kits together for upcoming classes this month in Waco, Texas (Crop Paper Scissors - I think there are spaces still available) and at an event in Edmonton, Canada called Scrapfest - I am also updating my to-do list making sure things aren't slipping through the cracks. Simon will take a nap and probably play trains and ask for a video or two.
Perfectly normal for us.

Aren't saturdays wonderful... especially those that belong solely to you? I've been enjoying my coffee on the deck, basking in the Edmonton sunshine.
Looking forward to Scrapfest and my Perspectives class with you. Enjoy the rest of your day! :)

AAhhhhhhhhhh, normal. As Martha would say, it's a good thing. We're going shopping for patio furniture today so that should be fun. Have a great normal day!

Sad to be missing out on the Waco experience. {sigh} Soccer season's started and no little road trips for me! I hope you have a great time . . .I know Waco will treat you well!

Hi, I just want to let you know how much you inspire me. Whenever I recieve another issue of CK, Studio A is the first column I read. And everytime I just want to drop everything and sneak into my own studio to create. Since I´ve read both your books, little by little I`m leaving perfection behind when I scrap. I´m playing more, not worrying about everything to match perfectly and it´s so liberating. Accually, I love my own pages so much more now and I think I´ve taken my scrapbooking to another level. Thanks! /Emma

I was just sitting here with my afternoon coffee rejoicing over the same thing - that we are all home. no classes, no out of town work, everybody home. Our normal day has consisted of morning shopping, afternoon tidying, late afternoon baking and lots of teasings and laughs. And it's all good.

Love this normal Saturday. Sitting on the deck with my neighbors (one lady is 95!) and watching the horses and riders from a "trailride" pass. I sometimes forget how wonderful it is to live in a small community, where my neighbors give a helping hand when needed and ask for help when they need it from us. We do know each others business, but that just makes us closer.

I too enjoyed a much-needed "normal" Saturday. Aside from grocery shopping and doing some laundry, I otherwise enjoyed a day with family at home.........ahhh, I love being house-bound.
