This is cool.

I picked up a couple really cool things this last weekend in Edmonton. The first is called an Add-A-Page Punch Tool from Beary Patch. Anyone ever seen this before? It is super cool. Scroll down the page (on the link) to watch the video that shows how to use it (and what you can do with it). Being able to add inclusions (like envelopes, transparencies, ephemera, etc) to existing spiral books will be so awesome (fits right in with the miniBOOK topic for the week).
Next I met Janice from a wonderful little company called Papier Valise and sampled a ton of her vintage products. Watch out people - seriously cool stuff in her booth (and in her online shop). I got a bunch of flash cards with cool words on them and a whole bunch of political definition cards she had on hand (think I can put those to good use?).
Also thought these ladies had some cool stamp collections: Tin Box Creations. Each set comes in its own cute little circle tin box.
Love this Date Prompt sticker sheet from Melissa Frances. They have some really lovely patterned papers available too (and check out those Christmas Cardstock stickers - I need to get some of those as I gear up for some holiday creativity).
And of course I came home with some more Heidi Swapp journaling spots and chipboard alphabets. I am addicted to those jouranling spots.
Having a day of recovery today. Kept Simon home from school - he and I are both a bit under the weather and it is a good reason to just cuddle up on the couch.
For those of you that missed the first newsletter (it will be weekly so sign up now to make sure you get the next one), email me and I will be happy to forward it to you.

I'd like to be on the e-mail newsletter list! Is there any way you could still forward the one from last night to me? Thanks for all of your inspiration, Ali!

Bad girl with the cool product alerts. You were the one who inspired me to clean out my scrap closet last month. Still enjoying my clean space for now. Will probably fall off the "less is more" wagon in a couple weeks when I get some birthday money. So I will probably be looking up this blog entry then.
Enjoying your newsletter!

Signed up, but did not receive the second e-mail to confirm. Would it be possible to still get the premiere newsletter. Thanks.

Hey Ali,
Thanks for the great classes this past weekend. The 'dork' and I learned so much and had an awesome time being 'keeners'. I went home with 10 flash cards from Paper Valise. Between them and Fontwerks, my money was GONE, I tell you!
I also signed up for the newsletter a while ago and didn't receive it the other night. When you can, I would love to get a copy. I've re-entered my info on your site.
Thanks again!

You know, if you want to make spiral/plastic spiral books, your lcoal schools have the punch and would let you use it in exchange for some time running their copier for teachers, or binding stuff for teachers. They might even let you sue it "just 'cause." I know that I would personally shave my eyebrows for a volunteer to bind stuff for my students.
