One of my favorite parts about the holidays last year was participating in Shimelle's Christmas Art Journal Class. Even though I didn't finish it last year, I love how it connected me daily to the holiday season in an artful and reflective way. I love that it gave me something to focus on and pushed me to try new things.

I highly recommend this experience. No pressure. Just good prompts and lots of sharing with others on the same journey. Not sure yet if I am going to have a chance to participate this year - December is shaping up to be pretty busy for us with a couple weekend workshops, a vacation, and hopefully a move into a new house. If my new house gets decorated I will consider that a huge accomplishment.

Love the christmas journal. I am going to try to make one this year. I think I found it mid year last year.This weekend would be great to get everything together for it...Happy Thanksgiving!!

Oh, and thanks for the "gift of time" - I had planned on being up in BC for the weekend, and it's kind of nice to have a weekend with NOTHING scheduled now. :) {I figured I'd save my 'weekend away' for your rescheduled class!}
