One of my favorite parts about the holidays last year was participating in Shimelle's Christmas Art Journal Class. Even though I didn't finish it last year, I love how it connected me daily to the holiday season in an artful and reflective way. I love that it gave me something to focus on and pushed me to try new things.

I highly recommend this experience. No pressure. Just good prompts and lots of sharing with others on the same journey. Not sure yet if I am going to have a chance to participate this year - December is shaping up to be pretty busy for us with a couple weekend workshops, a vacation, and hopefully a move into a new house. If my new house gets decorated I will consider that a huge accomplishment.

Thanks for reminding me about the art journal. I really want to record some of the everyday parts of my favorite special season! And you always do such a good job of inspiring me - thanks, Ali!
I hope you have a fabulous time on your Disney vacation!! Our family trip to Disneyland is one of the best vacation memories we have!

Loved the Christmas art journal idea last year, but unfortuatelly didn't get to do it since we were in the middle of moving. But I a defintely going to do it this year! Thanks for all your great inspiration!

Very cool Ali! Although I still am not sure I understand the concept of an online class...are supplies sent to you or do you just participate by submitting work one? Clarification would be greatly appreciated!

Wow Ali, it looks as though your life is/has changed, just like you said it would before Chris' election! Busy-Busy..... but aren't we all, and especially at this time of year. Have fun on the trip!
