I'm not a Democrat, not from Oregon and I didn't even vote. I know, shame on me, but I have been checking the results religiously to see if Chris pulled it off. Amid a flood of distrust for ALL politicians, I am, finally, hopeful again. And for that, I am most thankful.

This is so awesome. I came here from Royannna's Blog and found this amazing news and am so happy for all of you and the People of Oregon. I am not from Oregon but do have Family there. I am so Democrat that sometimes people I know don't like me but that is their prolem. I am so thankful that the House and Senate in Washington D.C. is now controlled by the Democrats and Thank God Rumsfeld stepped down.
God Speed in all you do. Your Chris will make a difference and so will you and your son.
