Me and Leah in the awesome classroom at The Scrapping Bee
Made it to the store early Saturday morning (just a tad late for the start of the first class) and made it home safe and sound yesterday afternoon. Such a quick trip. Almost too quick - loved The Scrapping Bee. As you can see in the photo above, they have an AWESOME classroom - filled with natural light coming in all those windows. Great space, great people, great products. Kendra, the owner, is a total inspiration - a woman that is living her dream (complete with all the challenges that come along with living your dreams) day to day. So proud of the community she has created there - and the tons and tons of cool project examples all over the store. Wonderful experience.
Now, back at home, I have a couple days to get a bunch of stuff done before leaving for Tampa (The Scrapbook Shoppe with Donna) and Orlando on Thursday. Lots to do to get ready (like getting all Simon's stuff in order). So unbelievable that a week from now I will be meeting Chris and Simon at Disneyworld!!!!!!!
Back to work and LOTS of coffee today.

I haven't heard a thing about this family and I'm *in* the Bay Area! How strange. And what a weird story. I'm glad they found the kid and the mom -- this is one of those stories where it seems there must be much more to it than the newspapers are printing!

I loved meeting you in Springfield this weekend. After having no electricity and a flooded basement due to the winter storm, it was a blessing to be in the room with you and feel that creative mojo!

Looks like you had a great time once you arrived at the Scrapping Bee. That place looks great. When I make a trip south, I'll have to stop in. The news, here in the midwest, has also carried this story about the lost family. How sad and scary for all.
