Messy Desk.

That challenge is a great idea, but I don't have time to clean mine up right now, much less do something creative with it. lol I need to get to bed if I have any hope in getting to church on time in the morning (even though we're usually late). :yawn:

I am going to a crop today. Last evening, I was cleaning off my table and packing my things for the crop. I decided to use the scraps on my desk to make mini albums for all the people at the crop so I did! I'm just hoping they will like the simpleness of these albums!

Ali... thanks for posting that picture... mine looks alot like yours and my DH threatens every once in a while to bring in the garbage can... he hasn't yet!!! But I know I am not the only person that has a mess at hand... I need to get it under control again... off to clean.

Just as I get it under control I set aside time for a 'creative' Sunday morning and it returns to its former 'glory'...
Hopefully when we move to a new place I will get a chance to have a special place for my craft work.

I hate to say this, but I think my desk is messier than yours... and I'm not posting a pic because it is SOOO messy! =) Thankfully I have a door that I can close on my scrapbook room!
Thanks for posting this, I will have to try and do something creative with my mess as I have a lot of projects in the works too!

Loved this post because my desk is a literal mess as well.
If only I didnt have to actually work on my lesson plans maybe I could also be creative for once this weekend.

Yep, that looks about right. Your studio looks like it is in MUCH better shape than mine! I actually pushed aside some of the mess to work on a project during the week, but the room still has a lot of work to be done. I hope you'll be posting pics of your new studio soon, too! Perhaps you'll inspire some of us first-timers (okay, at least THIS first timer) on how to get things together.

Holy CRAP that is one very messy desk and I LOVE it! :O) You just made me feel a little normal- like everyone out there really does have days and desks like mine. LOL! That is if I had my desk assembled and but to work- it is just my floor that is a mess where the desk is supposed to be! Sometimes I get so STUCK in my own mess- I feel like I am the only one out there with a mess in my life! :O) I love how REAL you are Ali! Thank you!

Love, love, love the fact that my desk has a buddy on the opposite side of the country. Organized, clean and neat desk is what my minds says I need but I find that I am much more creative with the mess. The only tinsy winsy issue is that there is a tipping point at which time I can't locate a thing. So then we revert back to organized, clean and neat .....and the cycle is re-born.
