Quick Question- Is there a product you use to "coat and finish" a mini-book when you are done? I'm not sure embossing enamel is what i mean.....I thought I remembered reading that you covered another one of your mini books with some sort of lacquer to protect it. I want to protect the cover of a mini-book I made so my daughter can look through it without any paper peeling. Thanks!

LOL @ Simon wearing your glasses. my nephew wears my Mums glasses all the time and looks like a little professor. he even folds them into his t-shirt when he's done like Mum does.

If worse comes to worse with the sewing machine, there are still quite a few Singer repair shops out there (there is even one here where I live). They could help if you can't fix it yourself.
Simon is adorable! He's dressed like Cathy with those glasses. If he starts talking about Neil Finn a lot, you know he's in trouble ;)

I think Cathy is rubbing off on Simon-- or are the glasses necessary to have such conversations??

Love the new banner. My 3 yr old daughter loves Mickey Mouse Club House. She always has to get up at the end and do the "Hot Dog" dance.

Singer Touch and Sew (sometimes called Touch and Swear LOL!)machines can be notorious for having problems. Some are good some aren't. There is a great sewing machine repair yahoo group called wefixit. You can ask a question and there are a lot of great people that have a lot of experience. The best things to do first are to rethread the machine/needle and take out the bobbin and rethread it too. Cleaning the machine can be a big help too. It will tell you how to in the manual. Good luck!
