Beautiful day.
Celebrating everyday stuff here in Savannah. Talking to women about my philosophy of capturing the everyday, taking lots and lots of photos, chatting, enjoying the company of people who are spreading the word about scrapbooking. Looking forward to the evening event tonight and heading home early tomorrow morning.
I will be teaching a three-hour class at the Portland CK Convention next weekend (Friday & Saturday morning) - there are still some spaces available if you would like to come play. The class will include a presentation and a project. Click here for more information.
Thanks for all the donations that have been coming in towards the badge. Awesome and so much appreciated.
Needing a bit of inspiration today? Here is something cool to check out :

Utah is a little far away from Portland, but I'd totally be there if I could swing it. (Which I cant). My SIL lives near portland. Too bad she doesn't scrap. She is a photographer though, so it's only a matter of time...

Hi Ali...just wondering...will you be teaching classes at CKC Tulsa? Do you know who will be teaching? I'd love to take one of your classes some day..but alas..I live in Oklahoma so I'm thinking it probably will never happen. :( I love your blog and your little Simon is such a cutie pie! :)

Hi Ali, you are busy busy... I wanted to have a look at the link you send, but it does not work. Could you repost please if you find some time?
I agree with previous poster: this blog is awesome, and very inspiring. I am working now on a booklet with scraps of scraps of scrapbook day... I scrap the whole day, and then the little leftovers go in a little book. I got the crop-a-dile and made a little book!
Will post a link when finished!

Hi Ali, I love reading your bits from Creative Keepsakes mag. Just wanted to ask about your stamps the handmade art and altered art ones, are they shop bought or specially made stamps?
Cheers,

Ali,
Thanks for visiting my city. While you were in I Remember When on Saturday night at the DeSoto I was across the hall for an event for my church. Enjoy your blog. Question? How do you create your banners? Blessings, susan

Being a SAHM, I fantasize about traveling like you do... but it must be so great to go home to your boys at the end of the trip.

That class looks like soo much fun! Too bad it's super far away. Bummer....I hate flying too. It's a good idea for a project. I may scraplift it even If I can't make the class. Thanks ....For sharing. Hope you make your badge goal for Monday too. Have a safe trip home. PS-those mountains look amazing in the weblink photo(Portland). Never been that way before. Looks wonderful.

Someday I'll come to a CKU or CK Convention but it needs to coincide with my work schedule and $$$! My Saturday was good - I spent the morning making cards as my supply was low. Hope your Savannah experience has been good!

Ali, you are very busy. My focus word for this year is balance. I meant see saws, the ups and downs of life, but when I googled for images I came up with scales -- scales of justices -- scales for drug dealers -- the google people don't think of balance as a see saw or teeter totter. This was more than a little ironic since I am a lawyer and one would think I would come up with scales of justice rather than a see saw. But I didn't. My aunt died. I found a scale in her things. I'm keeping it.

Hi Ali
I couldn't get your email to work - so i thought I would try this - Last year at the Kiwi Scraps Craft Connection, you did a cool chipboard book with Heidi Swapp Masks on the front and inside there was a cool 7 point flower - can you tell me what brand that flower was ? Much Appreciated ! Ali James

Ali,
Your badge got one more donation. It wasn't much, but I can tell you it meant a lot to 25 four and five year olds!
