Celebrate Everyday Life with Shutterfly
Tags:One of the big projects I have been working on over the last few months (and am really excited about) is the creation of a Celebrate Everyday Life photo book for Shutterfly.
This hard-bound book is available in 12x12 and 8x8 formats (minimum of 20 pages but you can add up to 80) and are set up for you to simply drag and drop your photos right into the book& type your text into specified areas. The design is super clean with plenty of white space to keep the emphasis on the photos + words.
Page topics within the photo book include everyday celebrations, observations, distractions, travel, play, work, routines, family, home, beauty, little things, etc. All those parts of our life worth documenting.
In addition to creating the photo book I wrote four short articles related to putting this book together (and scrapbooking everyday life in general). Here's a link to each:

8 Techniques for Choosing or Taking Photos
List of Everyday Photos
While you are visiting Shutterfly, check out the darling photo book created by Jessica Sprague: ABC's of You.

Ali, I LOVE how your shutterfly template makes this so completely accessible, allowing us to focus on what really matters ... putting it together; getting it done!

Hi Ali
I don't know if you have seen this video but it is amazing. It is to raise money and awareness of autism. Five for Fighting is donatind $.40 each time it is watched. Get out the kleenex though because it is a heart breaker.

Hi Ali! Love this - it makes your concepts so "doable"! You are the best thing CK has going for them! One question, are there any additional filler pages that are of the same design? Those would be great also!HappyHappyJoyJoy

My biggest photo challenge would be to take the photos as I see real life. I see my kids in their everyday, totally amazed by their process and when I try to capture it, the photos come out flat. No emotion! Would love to learn the artistic way of portraying my emotions thru my photography!

I have made a number of books through shutterfly.
Thank you so much for designing a new format for all of us to use. A new perspective and a great way to collect photos and memories that may otherwise not be included in other places. I love the everyday...its the best stuff.

Yeah...wow. You seriously need to create a "happy file" and print all these comments to put in there!
Awesome! I do hope I'm reading that right and you are helping us with this task. I tried one before and it was nice, but pretty boxy and dry.
