my biggest photo struggle is knowing it's ok to delete the bad shots from the computer. i don't really need 50 shots of the same event if they aren't all good, but i have a hard time erasing things!

For sure -my biggest problem is my camera. I don't know all that well how to use it and I don't think it's a very great one. But it's what I got. So take pictures like a "mad-lady." Which in itself causes me stress.....I have so much trouble narrowing down the shots. Thanks for being such a fun inspiration Ali. ~Rachelle

I struggle mostly with storing and 'easily retrieving' my photos - both online and prints. I'm looking forward to this book. Thanks for the FUN giveaway!!

I have 2 struggles.
I'm trying really hard to photograph and journal the little things, the incidental happenings in our house and in our lives. The problem is that I often miss capturing the moment by the time I get the camera out of the bag. I don't want to put the children off by hovering around with a camera around my neck but I need to find a way to access it quicker and still take great shots.
My other struggle is finding the time to sort throught them all, sort them into categories, make journalling notes etc... I keep taking more and more photos and the pile keeps growing. At the moment I have over 400 photos to download and that's just from the past 2 weeks!

my biggest photo struggle is finding time to figure out my "amazing" camera.
i got the camera a couple of years ago and every time someone that knows anything about cameras sees it says "don't get rid of that it is an amaazing camera"
Unfortunately I don't know how to properly use it. I have made a vow to myself to figure it out. . . now, where does all of my time go?

My biggest struggle is finding time to organize and/or edit all of the pictures I take. And now, trying to take a photo a day for 2008, I have even more... ack!

My biggest struggle is that I love photos taken in natural light without the flash, but even with IStabalazation, when the flash is off my pictures go blurry. So I use flash and it negates all the artistic nature in the photo because it is now with a harsher light. How do you keep them from getting blurry?

Looks like an excellent book!
My biggest struggle is trying to create the "warm", amber-ish sort of look on many of my photos. I've learned to play around some with the adjustments on iPhoto (can't afford Photoshop just yet!), and have discovered a few new tricks, but still can't seem to achieve the beautiful colors I see in so many professional photographs. Would love any good advice! :)

One biggest struggle? Hmmm. I would say world peace. I mean it would be capturing photos that tell a story, that show something. That or how to take a picture of a teenage girl that she will like. :)

Working out the best way to file. I have photos that are sitting in shoeboxes, unfiled, cause I havent found a system I am happy with.

Organizing and prioritizing "blow-me-away photos" and "blow-me-away-memories with not-so-great photos".

Stacy is so very inspiring, isn't she. :)
My biggest photo challenge, like some others, I see, is getting things printed. Also the "which size" issue. Which has resulted in me switching (at least for the moment) almost entirely to digital. All very well, but I'd still like a system for prints, not to mention I need to print my layouts now. Eek!

My biggest photo struggle is that my Mojo is gone! I realized some time ago that the Chronological approach was not working for me.....I didn't always want to scrap that next event so it just wasn't fun anymore. I really think that Stacy's approach will be just the thing to bring back my scrapbooking Mojo!

Photo struggles---don't know how to use my PSE to "tag" or categorize my digital photos!!! All my pictures are in folders of the date they were taken and that's where they sit. I do print some of them and make copies for my mother, but, once they are printed--they sit in the envelopes. Even though the envelopes have dates on them, I can have pictures in them that were taken yesterday or months ago so when it comes time to scrap..where do I look. I will often end up printing up another print to use instead of searching for the one that I "just knew I had printed".

My greatest struggle is knowing where to begin. I have a life time of pictures, I began taking pictures at 9 and I'm past 50! Many of them are in albums but they aren't archival safe. I want to make albums filled with the story of my family, going back as far as I can and making room for the future. Where to start?

Biggest photo struggle? Just one? OK. I'll choose...organizing photos on the computer so I can easily find what I'm looking for. So frustrating! :)

My biggest photo struggle: I am taking care of my mom, which among other things, entails cleaning through almost 30 years of hoarding (an actual disorder in the OCD category)...what this means is that my whole life story and that of my family is in the thousands of pictures my mom took (she was a photographer) and that I so desperately want to save from damage and organize. I want to do this while she is still alive and able to tell me the stories behind the pictures. This is my life story, and the history of my family. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then I have hundreds of thousands of words to find, save, organize and scrapbook... the story can't end here!

My biggest photo struggle is actually printing my digital photos. I just don't seem to print as many photos since I've gone digital. I think it has something to do with the instant gratification of being able to see the image immediately, unlike the old days of film where you had to have the film developed and photos printed to actually see your photos.
