staying digital... you have to do all the work , with my dear cannon rebel...you took your film in, said how many copies you wanted & picked them up... it was so easy. I have a cannon rebel digital, a new mac computer, a picture mate, a great brother printer... and I spend so much time in my office... digital photography is so lonely & time consuming....

Since going digital, I struggle with getting both 35mm and digital organized together. Also, getting digital photos printed.
On another note, I'm not sure what to do with all the photos that I already printed that I don't plan to scrap. I'm really out of photo storage room in my current location and I don't want to end up with photos all over the house! Honestly some of them are not even worth keeping but I'm not sure I can bring myself to throw them away.
Help please...I'm drowning in photos!
Thanks for the opportunity to win this book. It looks really awesome!

Haha! So funny you mention this as I was just telling my husband the other day that I wish our son,(6 1/2 years old) would be more 'himself' in front of the camera. Lately he's been hamming it up when I want candid shots, and when I want something posed, he's got his eyes half-eye closed, or weird expressions on his face. No matter how many times I try to get him to be more 'natural', the worse and more forced it becomes, then we all get frustrated and I end up giving up on the photos altogether. I'm really hoping this will pass, but until then, I'm scrapping lots of older pictures, but then I feel that I'm missing out on a stage in his life right now.
Thanks for the great topic and giveaway!! :)

For me it would have to be having an average camera with a slow reaction time. Taking photos of my super active twins means that I have to anticipate and then pray I get the shot. Sometimes this works and sometimes I miss out.

My biggest struggle is still finding time to 'play': to try different settings, to read the manual, to not get the perfect picture, to not be overwhelmed by the volumes of unorganised photos....

My biggest challenge is keeping my iPhoto library archived... it takes over 40GB on my G5
! Yikes!

I struggle with perfection and wanting to take the perfect picture (the Norman Rockwell version how it should be), sometimes I miss the everyday moment. I also have so much scrapbooking to catch up on, its hard to keep up. My kids do something funny and keepsake worthy all the time. I need some paperazzis to follow us around and help me out!
Thanks for always getting me thinking!

Trying to get my son to cooperate.... and when he doesn't... I need to learn to appreciate the spontaneousness of every shot! Candids can be gold on any page or in any frame. (Pick me)

I struggle with photos from when my children were small (now 21 and 17) and I took too few and too terrible pictures. Additionally, I was EVENT oriented and have almost NO everyday life thing. Sad..I wish I had a do-over

Wow - I'm trying to be better, but it seems like I have to print out every picture taken. I'm getting better at not scrapbooking everything but what do I do with all the extra pictures?

My biggest photo struggle is just trying to stay organized. I wish I could be better organized. Also wanting to spend more time scrapbooking and getting more completed.
I also hate to throw away duplicate photos and not sure how to organize those either.
THanks!

My biggest photo struggle is lighting. I never get the settings right for the lighting, and then when I down load the pictures and edit them, I can't get them to look right either. I take a lot of pictures but out of 200 pic's maybe 50 will be good.

Definately my biggest photo struggle is knowing how to manually adjust the settings on my camera, the more technical stuff....yikes!

With a large family (9 siblings plus spouses, the spouses' families, the nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends)every day occasions end up being a huge party. Holidays and special occasions even more so, so I take a lot of pictures (7+ rolls of film just at Easter!!). And since I haven't crossed over to digital yet, that means printing all of the photos. My primary struggle comes in deciding which photos to scrap because I truly do want to use them all!!! While I'm getting better at paring down, I really think Stacy's book will be a huge help in releasing me from the guilt of not scrapping every single picture.

Hi Ali! My biggest photo struggle is having the right kind of lighting. The flash just drowns everything out!
Thanks! Vicki A.

I have many struggles when it comes to taking photos, but the biggest one is that what I see in my mind is not comes out on the camera. I just can't seem to get those cool shots-whether it's the angle, the light, the subject. My 6 year old radomly takes pics with my camera and she really has an eye-hers are way cooler than mine:( It's rare that I get anything even cool to scrap-IMO.
