My biggest photo struggle is taking pictures that tell the story behind the story, the less obvious details. I tend to take the predictable, normal pictures of our lives, and not the mundane or special things that make us who we are. I'm learning though! I need to make more time for it.

I have two "big" struggles. Actually allowing myself to enter my scrapbook room when there is always household or "kiddie" tasks that i could/should do.
The other struggle is that we are a 2 team (2 sons) travel hockey family. To me every game is different. Different arena, different goals or saves... anyway to everyone else I think the pictures just end up looking the same. ~~ Kid in jersey, kid with puck, goalie making a save... how do i make these photos scrap~worthy?

My biggest photo struggle is trying to capture more "really great" pics instead of just a lot of random so-so pics.
    Thanks Ali!

Since I don't like to print my photos from home, deciding which sizes to order from websites is tough, mostly because you have to imagine a page layout ahead of time. Of course, trying to keep all my digital photos orderly is another challenge!

My biggest photo struggle is with organization. I keep albums for both of my boys and never know if I should keep my photos organized together chronologically or in two separate sets by boy.

My biggest photo challenge is that no matter how many photos I take, I never seem to get any of those wow photos. They all look plain, ordinary, and the same. It's hard to get inspired to scrap and create when there's nothing inspiring about the photos you're working with.

I forget to take photos. A couple of days will go by, and I haven't taken a single photo. What are some great tips for remembering?

how sweet of you to have a giveaway! :)
My biggest photo struggle is lighting! I can never get the angle or position correct so that either my subject isn't all dark or things aren't washed out or too yellow with and without the flash!

my biggest struggle with my photos, I have five kids and one who is not especially photogenic, so the pictures I do get of him I'd like to showcase in special ways along with the other four who make me look like a pro.

I take too many digital pictures, upload them to my computer and back them up on CDs by month. I say I'll go back and edit them, but never seem to have the time to go back and get it done!!
I also struggle with getting rid of photos that are simply not too great! I just keep them, I can't seem to purge them.
    Thanks for the nice giveaway!

    My biggest photo struggles are
    1) getting the photos of myself happening,
    2) regularly choosing which ones i want for printing so that it doesn't become a mamoth task in itself,
    3) taking my camera to the everyday routines - school and other normal activities like ballet etc. (Mostly our "everyday photos" are taken at home or events)
I love that quote from the book about perspective-laden layouts.

I am new to digital pictures so I have a lot "traditional" photos I want to scrap. It's hard to keep them filed/organized until I can scrap them. I find they take up a lot of room in my scrap space that I could use for other supplies!

I think my biggest struggle is really what you are talking about: organization. Then next to that would be getting them printed. I love having photos up, but we live in the country and I think it's better if I get a whole bunch printed at once. So I don't do it for awhile and then it's forever until I actually do! But when I do get them printed, I love the outcome!

WOW! Almost 1500 entries!!! That is amazing!!! My biggest photo struggle is just "letting go" letting go of the so-so prints and letting go of the so-so digi ones... then storage/organization wouldn't be so hard!

I suppose like most working and busy scrapbookers, I have much trouble with staying organized and being able to find "the" picture I am looking for when I am looking for it. Thanks for sharing this book with us! Vicki
