Biggest problem is not having an SLR. My current digital camera is great, until you try to take an action shot. Just too dang slow.

I am the keeper of both my parent's family photos. I have 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 kids, 1 husband and a gazillion pictures. I get overwhelmed just thinking about it!

Probably my biggest struggle is expecting too much when I do take pictures and then feeling bad about being a not great photographer so why do I bother so I don't take pics.
My husband would say remembering to put the battery back in the camera is my biggest problem. :)

i take way too many pictures and then have a hard time getting rid of some. plus, i find it hard to pick the right picture(s) for a layout. and, still trying to organize digital photos....lol, probably because i have too many.
    thanks for the chance, susan

Pick me, pick me! I am utterly intrigued by this book, but buying it just isn't in the budget right now. Thanks for the chance Ali. And my biggest photo struggle: pictures are everywhere... some prints, some negatives, some digital, some doubles that I already scrapped... I need a system.

Wow!! HHMMM... my biggest photo challenge... I would have to say is finding the right lighting. When you look at the subject and lighting, it seems right, but then you take the photo and unfortunately it isn't quite right. Hoping I am the winner. Thanks for the opportunity!

Capturing photo's of the kids that are not posed. I would like to capture them doing things but the angle is always bad, head down, etc.

I think my biggest struggle is knowing when to delete a mediocre photo. I always take tons of shots, so I'm not sure why I have trouble trashing the yucky ones.
Also, my digital camera is more than 5 years old and is very slow- I've missed many a great shot. I think it might be time to upgrade!
New camera or not, I'm sure Stacy's book will be an inspiration!

staying digital... you have to do all the work , with my dear cannon rebel...you took your film in, said how many copies you wanted & picked them up... it was so easy. I have a cannon rebel digital, a new mac computer, a picture mate, a great brother printer... and I spend so much time in my office... digital photography is so lonely & time consuming....

Since going digital, I struggle with getting both 35mm and digital organized together. Also, getting digital photos printed.
On another note, I'm not sure what to do with all the photos that I already printed that I don't plan to scrap. I'm really out of photo storage room in my current location and I don't want to end up with photos all over the house! Honestly some of them are not even worth keeping but I'm not sure I can bring myself to throw them away.
    Help please...I'm drowning in photos!
Thanks for the opportunity to win this book. It looks really awesome!

Haha! So funny you mention this as I was just telling my husband the other day that I wish our son,(6 1/2 years old) would be more 'himself' in front of the camera. Lately he's been hamming it up when I want candid shots, and when I want something posed, he's got his eyes half-eye closed, or weird expressions on his face. No matter how many times I try to get him to be more 'natural', the worse and more forced it becomes, then we all get frustrated and I end up giving up on the photos altogether. I'm really hoping this will pass, but until then, I'm scrapping lots of older pictures, but then I feel that I'm missing out on a stage in his life right now.
Thanks for the great topic and giveaway!! :)

For me it would have to be having an average camera with a slow reaction time. Taking photos of my super active twins means that I have to anticipate and then pray I get the shot. Sometimes this works and sometimes I miss out.

My biggest struggle is still finding time to 'play': to try different settings, to read the manual, to not get the perfect picture, to not be overwhelmed by the volumes of unorganised photos....

I struggle with perfection and wanting to take the perfect picture (the Norman Rockwell version how it should be), sometimes I miss the everyday moment. I also have so much scrapbooking to catch up on, its hard to keep up. My kids do something funny and keepsake worthy all the time. I need some paperazzis to follow us around and help me out!
Thanks for always getting me thinking!

Trying to get my son to cooperate.... and when he doesn't... I need to learn to appreciate the spontaneousness of every shot! Candids can be gold on any page or in any frame. (Pick me)

I struggle with photos from when my children were small (now 21 and 17) and I took too few and too terrible pictures. Additionally, I was EVENT oriented and have almost NO everyday life thing. Sad..I wish I had a do-over

Wow - I'm trying to be better, but it seems like I have to print out every picture taken. I'm getting better at not scrapbooking everything but what do I do with all the extra pictures?

My biggest photo struggle is just trying to stay organized. I wish I could be better organized. Also wanting to spend more time scrapbooking and getting more completed.
I also hate to throw away duplicate photos and not sure how to organize those either.
    THanks!
