The words.
Tags:Went through all the comments from the last few days tonight and collected all the words. Reading your words + your reasons were uplifting + inspiring. Thank you for sharing. If I missed your word leave a note in the comments section and I will add it to this list.
And there is always time to choose a word if you have not done so yet.

Ali,
I am sure I am late in adding my word but I would like to if possible. My word for the year is two words but they are what I am striving for. This is the year I want to get my finances in order. So my word is "debt free" I am working with a finacial advisor and have a plan to be out from under 40+ thousand dollars worth of debt by Jan 1 2009.
Thank you for always inspiring me to try new things. I am currently doing the 365 challenge also.

I still haven't decided between two- one is on your list, but the second is not.
GRACE- I can be a sort of grab the bull by the horns, throw it to the ground, get in your face, let you know what I think kinda gal. I could benefit from some buffing around the edges. I know..
My second word is GEEK. I would love to be a geek- knowledgeable in all things technology, digital and computer oriented. I am taking a digital photo class in May; I would like to venture into digital scrapping; and maybe I could create a webpage for my business.....

My word isn't listed. INVEST. I'm not talking about money. Invest in my children by spending more quality time with them, teaching them. Invest in my marraige by connecting with my husband each day. Invest in myself by exercising and eating right.
Thanks for all the inspiration Ali!

Wow, what a list. There are some inspiring words and thoughts here. I'm going to start a small scrapbook with the word Faithful and document God's faithfulness to me and where God gave me stregth and wisdom to be faithful to all He's given me. Thanks for the inspiration.

What an amazing list! My word is vibrant. Courage, finish, and health were all in the running, too. Vibrant just seemed the best. I have taken many steps over the last few years to reclaim my health after several surgeries and vibrant just seemed the best. I want to feel energetic and enthusiastic every day, and to bring that feeling to whatever I do. I am taking a picture a day for 2008. What a wonderful idea. I think at the end of the year I may scrap a few of the favorites and put those pages along with the rest of the photos into one album. I am very excited about it. Thank you so much for all your inspiration.

Wow! After reading all the words I felt like changing mine many times. :) My word this year is 'more' which I noticed isn't on the list. I finally made my final decision and will blog about it soon. Be more. Live more. Love more. Create more. Pray more...and on it goes.
Thanks to you and all your readers for the inspiration!

Look at the impact you've had on us all with that list... I'd say you've already shown how "vital" you are in our worlds!

I think my word/phrase for this year is going to "One Less".
From the Gardasil commercial. Several years ago I was told by my old OB that I had HPV. Those words hit home for me. I wrote more about it at my blog if you or anyone wants to check it out!

Beginnings is my word for the year. As a reforming perfectionist it is a comforting word. I am on a journey ... everything I do has a beginning. I don't have worry about the perfect completion but I can enjoy the process. It may not make sense to anyone else but it resounds in my spirit.
Blessings
