My biggest photo challenge is lighting, lighting, and more lighting. I never seem to have the right light. I may have to check out this book if I don't win one.

My dear friend Ali - We only met once but I feel as though I know you well through your books, articles and blog and so I address you as "dear friend" because you touch, inspire, cause introspection and direct me as a dear friend would with your thought provoking words and your moving photos. You speak your heart with images and I feel understood when I look at them. I can't tell you how many times I've read your blog and then headed straight to my camera. I have photos I would never have taken because your work reminds me about today, this moment.
