What a great night! Simon rocks [and so does his mama!]!!

I like the concept of remembering a random day of Simon's life like that. I know I would love to know what one of my days was like when I was that young. I like how you make everyday feel special! Great post, thanks! (It did make me hungry, though!)
I buy a ton of Bert's Bee's as gifts. I'm using the eye wrinkle cream right now.

I love this picture! I guess you stood up on a chair? I just got the creative composition book that you recommended last week and I was reading about getting on ladders and chairs to get the better shots. It really helps sometimes to get a different perspective! I haven't done it yet, but I plan to!

Amazing isn't it that on the other side of the world I could have taken exactly the same picture and made exactly the same comment. Aaah the joys of Lego, Cars, the news and endless piles of washing!

Little kid hands are just the best. ever. Not sure why, but when I look through my daughters photos, it's always one of the first things that I am drawn to.

There is nothing more joyful in life than a little boy and his Lego's. Thanks for sharing.

I read your blog daily- it is a highlight of my websurfing. Sometimes I point out pictures of Simon to my 3 1/2 year son- who always thinks it is cool to see a little boy on the computer. Last night I showed him this picture of Simon's cars and asked him who the cars where- of course he named them right off (as I'm sure Simon does) and really thought it was neat to see pictures of 'his' toys on the computer. Then of course we had to scroll down so he could see a picture of who was playing with 'his' cars. Thanks for sharing photos of your family- it is so nice to see common things aside from the whole creative art commonality.

I can't remember how I came across your site, probably looking for scrapbooking ideas, but I have truely come to love your photography which is what keeps me coming back. It is always so simple and clean and inspires me to capture my own regular life. Thank you.

This post was sitting on my screen when my husband lifted the laptop and presumed he was on my blog! Love that the simple things like a cutting mat and some Disney cars can transcend the Atlantic Ocean and the entire continent of North America! Hope you have a great weekend:)
