My favorite thing right now would have to be my Gratitude Journal. I seem to journal in it with ease. On my larger albums I have a harder time journaling in them, maybe I'm worried about what I journal being to perfect.

The best thing for me right now is using journaling and memory keeping to sort out some thing that have been bothering me for a long time.
As many have said before, this art form can be great therapy.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that my 16 year old daughter enjoys doing this with me. As the mom of teenagers, it's hard to find ways to connect and spend time with them -they are always so busy running in different directions so it's nice to have this to give us that time together.

My favorite thing right now is capturing the "now" moments.
Like my kids this weekend at their championship swim meet. Capturing them not only during the swim, but after when they could see their time on the scoreboard. My daughter getting her first place win in the relay and how excited the 4 of them AND their coach were. The expressions are priceless.
And this morning when I took my 12-year old to the airport for his first flight by himself. He just had an hour flight to Atlanta to meet up with my husband, but it's a first for the both of us. Hard to believe that he's growing up so fast right before my eyes.
CAPTURE THE NOW!!!

My favorite thing right now is that I have finally learned to start focusing on the story instead of worrying about embellishing, using "stuff" etc. - it has been very diffficult for me to get to this point but very liberating also.
Don't get me wrong - I still LOVE all the "Stuff" just not worried about making sure I use it.

Hi Ali-Thanks for another great give away! My favorite thing, huh? I love this about keeping memories-it's for me: I can get lost in the creativity, I learn (so much more than just "scrapbooking" from others like yourself, I enjoy the tactileness of it, it's ever changing, never boring, I get lost in the memories, it's a total release... AND it's for them: it's something tangible for my family, it says that they are cherished, it's better than a cardboard box, it's for keeps...

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is the ability to use hybrid scrapbooking...I use Photoshop or picnik and add journaling or digi-stamps to an image and then print away...then I usually create a mini-album with supplies from my stash. I've decided that a series of mini-albums are just fine for where I am in my life right now, i.e. a busy mama.

What a wonderful prize package for someone on a Monday!
This is an easy question for me today after being lucky enough to be at the birth of my nephew yesterday - it's the little things. All of those details that we so easily forget just a short time later. I was thinking about when my boys were born (they're 5 and 2.5) and while I don't remember all the little things, I do have them scrapped and they're wonderful to go back to. My goal today is to do a page for my nephew's book about his birth and how amazing it was for me to be there to share that!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that it is reducing the fire hazards under my beds! You can't get to simplicity and feng sui, or however you spell that, with stuff crammed for three kid's memories running out your ears! It is harnessing powerful energy by choosing to celebrate with that stuff instead of cramming it. I am doing each child's school years and have them all in a box this summer. I am making progress, and that celebration of ALL the FUN STUFF they did last year is helping me face another year of losing them again to school!

I am 8 months pregnant and my family is in this odd space right now between one and two children. As I anticipate this change, I find myself dwelling on how things are going to be so drastically different for all of us, and particularly my son, in just a few weeks and I am working like to crazy to capture this brief moment in time. I know this will never come again and I'm so happy to have a way to capture it for all of us.

Especially lately, my kids seem to be growing up and changing so quickly lately, and I just don't want to forget these special moments, memories, and stories. ~Tanya

Right now its scrapping about me. Up until recently all of my albums are about my children, their school days and our holidays. I realised that if I were to die now they would no nothing about me, their mum. So I have dedicated some time to telling my story, and enjoying the ride at the same time.
Have a great day.

My favorite thing is just keeping day to day accounts. I love looking back over everything a couple months later and remembering the "small details".

Recording the everdayness - - - like the fact that the gerbil should change his name to "Audrey! Turn OFF THE TV!" because as soon as I yell that he gets quality time with my five year old. Without keeping a scrapbook that would just get lost in time.

My favorite things change over time. Right now, I am especially enjoying scrapping photos and journaling about my grandparents and my husband's grandparents. They all passed away in the last three years. It's been therapeutic to reminisce about their lives and influences through scrapbooking.

Hey Ali!
My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is recording my story. It's been liberating to record what I need of me, not what I think generations down the road will want to know, not what I wish my life were. I want to record my story, my life, as I live it day by day.

I'm 60 years old and have only been scrappin' for about 5 years. Originally I naturally started putting together pages of my children. But lately I've started to tell my story-the memories it brings back. There is a certain peace to it-a broader vision as it were. My parents, their parents, my children-the circle of life continues. I feel a sense of completeness-amazing this "hobby" of ours.

I'd have to say that my favorite thing right now is the fact that I'm really feeling comfortable with the "why" I'm scrapbooking. Before, I felt a little guilt about it. Like "who is this for?", and "isn't there housework/errands/other work to be done instead?". But, I've come to the realization the this is just so good for me and my family love the "stuff" I make. So, I have no reason to question myself anymore.
I've seen gorgeous quilts on "Antiques Roadshow" that tell these wonderful stories, and I'd just really like to think that someday, the albums we've created will be the family treasures on that show.

right now. I am in love with my kiddos and love playing with paper...so it just works. I am recording memeories. AND playing with my scrap toys at the same time.
The memory part doesn't hit me until a bit of time passes and I have forgotten little details that I recorded on a page. that sort of takes my breath away. that I forgot things I never thought I would forget!
