My favorite part is when thinking in a new project you can remember these moments that made you feeling something.

i would have to say making mini-books with my new bind it all machine....but even more importantly is that every time i go up to my scrap room my 5 year old son is running behind me saying "mom, you can't scrapbook without me!" i love it - especially coming from my son since i have 2 of them and no girls!!!

Oh, wow, my favorite thing about memory keeping right now? I guess that would be sharing little details of our lives with my parents who aren't here to see those details....like Jack staying up late with me in my office and playing on the computer while I scrap, or Maggie helping baby Jacob run through the sprinkler, or Alex and Jack playing happily with the sand and water table together. I love that I have those little stories of our lives recorded for our extended famiy to enjoy. :)

At the moment I am enjoying creating journal style LOs, focusing on aspects of my personality, routines, quirks, relationships & where I am in life. It feels good to know that I'll have a record of all these things forever. They are so important right now but are likely to change or be forgotten with time. I love that scrapbooking allows me to record these memories in a visual way. While the journaling & photos are the focus, the creative side enhances them & is fun!

I love being able to look back at all those moments that I have forgotten about until the memory comes alive through the page I have created. I scrapbook so my children will remember and so I will never forget.

The most important thing to me is with my two daughters being so little it is my job to record all of our family moments so that they can experience them later.

I've only been memory keeping for a few years but I love that I have enough now to be able to look back and realize, hey, if I hadn't documented that everyday moment, I would've forgotten it. That's such a great feeling :)

I like keeping history-both for me and my children. I wish I had learned more about my relatives in Poland before all the people who could tell me about them passed away........

What I love about memory keeping right now is the beauty of digitally enhancing your photos! The digital world makes it so easy for me to highlight the subject of my photos and really making it pop on my scrapbook page. Yay!

Hi, Ali . . . My favorite part of memory-keeping right now is taking the photos. I figure I have my whole life to scrap them, but I can't go back in time to get a picture I missed.

my favorite thing would be the peace and joy I feel when I look back at the pages I have created and relive that moment on the page in my mind. Pure joy. My pages let me go back to that time whenever I want to.

I love the process right now: the touching and arranging and typing and cutting and just using my hands. It feels good, physically, to create.

...just how much I get out of it: the intense satisfaction of completing a layout, the creative outlet it provides, the excitement on my son's face when he sees something he is particularly fond of at the moment (he's 21 months), the way one memory of something triggers other memories of things, playing with all the new product, being a part of an interesting community of women...

My favorite thing about the act of memory keeping is actually remembering the event what I'm scrapbooking. Then there's also the artistic release and feeling of peace and relaxation that it gives me.

Ali,
I would have to say that my favorite part is getting memories down for my kids so that they can look back on their childhood and know what went on. I don't remember much from mine. When I've asked about my childhood I get nothing and I have no pictures or anything. So its fun to reverse the lack of that for my kids! My daughter lost her first tooth a couple weeks ago and she asked me about when I lost mine and I couldn't tell her anything. So I did a layout with the story about her losing her tooth from her perspective and her words. Now she will have that to look back on! For me that's priceless!

We're doing a big clean-up at home, so seeing some of our 'special memories' found deep in boxes isn't how I wanted to keep them. So as I'm cleaning, I've been putting aside all the 'special memories' into a really nice 12x12 document-style box so it doesn't get lost again. My goal is once I'm done with the cleaning/decluttering, I'll splurge and join a crop to scrap all thse 'new-found' memories!!

Right now I am all about mini books. Although I keep my regular 12X12 books I find it is a treat to put together a mini book about one particular event. This way when I want to recall it for friends I can simply grab that smaller book. It makes me so happy!
