Thanks for a giveaway Ali.
My favorite thing about memory keeping now is that my own children and grandchildren will have the sort of thing I wish I had from my own parents and grandparents. You tend to ignore some of these memories till you get to a certain age and then wish you had asked or taken note of so many things.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is trying new things like making photo collages on the photo service website I use and making mini albums with a theme that challenge me to think and look for certain pictures.
I also love it when the missionaries from church come to dinner and ask me if I have any memory books they can look at :)
Thank you for the chance to win!!!

Catching the *little* with the BIG moments. I love the little things that make up the big ones. Little sayings, funny stories, a thought, a memory, and picture and what it conveys. This life goes by too quickly, and it's important to slow down and catch the little things.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is recording memories and events about myself and our family for my children and my children's children. Thanks for all you do!

I love that my kids are at the age where they just love to sit and look through my albums. They love to reminisce about when they were little, when they did this or when they did that. It truly makes all the time and effort that goes into 'keeping memories' worth it.

My favorite thing: Letting go of being too precise with documenting or if it's a good photo, especially when I'm in it! Loving simplicity and using materials I already have and finding ways to re-purpose them.

Hi Ali, I have been a scrapbooker forever, but since I have suffered from Ovarian Cancer (my operation was in April this year) I have focused on the here and now, what me and my family have today because yesterday is gone and you never know if you are going to have a tomorrow.

right now there are 2 things... 1 is life seems to be passing me by soooo fast... it is nice to have a bunch of photos and a 'little piece of art' to look back on a remember and enjoy that moment or moments a little longer now and forever... and 2 is allowing myself some creativity which is a total opposite of sitting in a classroom and reading text books... nice relaxing break!

Hi Ali - my favorite is that I know that down the road my kids will have their lives and memories recorded - there is so much that we forget (even tho we think we are not). I wish I had those memories to look back at.

My favorite thing right now is writing my kids notes about why i love them and what they are up to RIGHT NOW. I imagine my kids finding these notes and reading them when they are 25 and it makes me smile!

Right now, I am love scrapbooking because my boys are old enough to look through their albums and really enjoy them!! Also, I admit, I love looking at all the new products coming out!! With a new baby arriving anyday, I am trying to fit in as much as I can possibly get done.

My favourite thing is how my 6 year old and 19 month old take such joy out of looking through the albums I have managed to make for them. For my 6 year old it helps reinforce lots of good memories that we have been able to share and he will often recall something else about the moment as we are looking through them that I was not even aware of or did not think he would have noticed at the time. For my 19 month old, she can't talk at the moment, but she certainly recognises people and events and loves looking through the albums with family members who live in different cities to us.

My favorite part about memory keeping lately is that my girls keep bringing me the scrapbooks especially the baby albums and Disney albums for me to read to them or sometimes I find my 7 year old quietly reading them to herself. She will ask me "mommy do you remember when I..."- like she really remembers the event- but she only remembers it because she has seen it in the scrapbooks.Seeing and enjoying the albums makes all of the work and fun that went into making them worth it.

I think my favourite part about memory keeping lately is the strong urge it brings to me to revisit old haunts. I've been driving around with my camera in the old neighbourhood, taking pictures of storefronts and signs, schools and houses. I guess it's all about me at the moment!

ohhhhhhhhh over the last few years my memory hasn't been what it should be and i forget little sweet/fun things that my children have done. it's sooooo easy to go back and browse my scrapbooks to get a refresher! love that!!!! :)

The best thing about memory keeping is looking through my albums and reading something about my children and being able to remember that moment or milestone that i would of otherwise forgotten or misrepresented in my mind.
