Sharing Your Story : New Book Giveaway

I just made a mini book from paper bags (old school, I know) over the weekend for my daughter to take to school to show her likes, dislikes, favorite thing over the summer, etc. It's the best way I know to show someone a peek inside your life.
By the way, I've NEVER done a paper bag album, but I really L-O-V-E-D doing it, and it's so quick! Must do more of those!!

my favorite mini is one i made with bits and pieces of things my son cole was interested in last year. it's got packaging from toys and part of a box of muffins - his favorite snack - lots of little things about him - just a years worth of Cole!! :)

My favorite mini book project is one just getting started about a hike my daughter and I took together this weekend. It was a huge accomplishment for us and I was specifically taking photos of different natural elements (bugs, leaves, etc.) to try working into my pages a bit different than I normally do. Switching things up is really exciting me!

My favorite was the on-the-go travel journal.
I'd love that book.

Oh How I would LOVE to win one of these. After taking your mini album classes in Tampa a couple of years ago, I love to make them every chance I get. My favorite one is a bird album that is a tribute to my grandfather. His song he chose was "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" and the bird books are being done for each of my siblings with photos pertaing to them and my grandfather. Thanks for being such an inspiration to me.

Oooh, this book is definitely on my short must-have list! My favorite mini-book project so far was using a Real Simple business card holder from Target to hold little "layouts" of my sister with each of her friends from her baby shower this summer. My favorite mini-book is one I created for my surprise 30th birthday party.

My favorite mini-book I've ever made was called, "What I Learned on my Summer Vacation." I made it out of coasters and filled it with the things I had learned about myself (I don't have to be perfect, I need to listen to my own voice, etc) that I had learned over the last few months. I loved how colorful and fun it was.

I am planning on making a mini book about my FIL and his three grandchildren. He has ALS and just met his third grandchild for the first and possibly only time. I want to document the special times he has had with his grandchildren for his grandchildren, so that they grow up with memories of him and how much he loved them.

Can't wait to get my hands on your new book!
My favorite minibook until now is a cascade album we made with Donna Downey when she taught for us in Italy.
The other one I'm currently working on, is a star shaped chipboard album and I'm doing it about our fabulous group at CKU.

I am planning on doing a mini book about a benefit that I was a volunteer at yesterday.
My husband had Lou Gehrigs and passed away quite awhile ago at 38. Yesterday a group of women were rasing money for the ALS society by having a stamping function. I was so inspired by this event that I'm doing two one for them, and one for me to record this long journey.

Last year I made an alphabet book of my favorite pictures of our new baby. I had lots of favorites that didn't really fit into other categories, so this was a perfect way to showcase them. So looking forward to your book!

I recently made a small minibook called "Undeniably You" about my almost 4 year old (her birthday is tomorrow). It had different traits about her (pure joy, happy, beauty, enjoys life, so silly, confidence, one of a kind) plus some fun pictures. Definitely my favorite.

My fave project was one inspired by Rhi Cooksey Quinton over at SIS tv - to make a little "flicky book" (this is the link to give proper credit - http://www.scrapinstyletv.com/forums/6_19780_0.html). I made a little mini of an small photo of my baby boy at each of his "monthly" birthdays, from newborn right up until 12 mths old. I sat him on the same sheet background with the same toys in each photo - and it is amazing when you flick the book how quickly he grows! So yeah, that would be my fave ever mini book, and I have to give big props to Rhi for sharing the idea! I totally love the idea of minis, the sense of accomplishment is so cool! And I would love a copy of your book please Ali, so PICK ME PLEASE!!!! LOL!

My sister and son LOVE Halloween. Last year I created a Halloween haunted castle mini album (from the BE castle accordion book) for pictures of their Halloween projects over several years!

I have two favorites...My Favorite Photos of 2006 that I did with you and Favorite Snapshots of 2007 that I made with a kit from Karen Russell. Can't wait for this book!

My favorite (and it's a hard decision to make because most of the albums I do are mini books) was the one I did in memory of my grandmother. It turned out so well. I just love to look at it and reminisce.

So far my favorite mini book to create was one for my daughter's first communion. Too many stories for just one layout, but not enough for a whole album. A mini book was just the right size... and I got to try out my new bind it all. Fantastic.
