Today.

I am thankful for the time I spent this past week resting, relaxing, rejuvenating, chatting, laughing, watching, walking, listening, and eating on the Oregon coast with an amazing collection of creative, inspiring, blogging women: Andrea, Jen, Karen, Kelly Rae, Andrea, Mati, Myriam, Jen, Brene, Jen, Alex, and Tracey.
I am cleaning out the refrigerator.
I am planning new weekend creative projects that will begin again in September.
I am listening to Simon tell me stories about his time this past week with Grandma + Grandpa.
I am going on a hunt with Simon for a new purple light-saber.
I am restocking the fridge + picking up some fresh flowers at the grocery store.
I am keeping the laundry going.
I am thinking about signing up for one of Aby's online organizing workshops.
I am feeling better and coming out of that early-mid pregnancy fog + sickness.
I am looking forward to a weekend at home with Simon + Chris.

Hi Ali,
I have just been browsing your blog as I do too often and I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the fact that you seem to be able to keep it all real. I love the fact that your scrapbook pages are not all about textbook perfect photos and gobs of gooey embellishments. I just really appreciate the fact that your life doesn't happen in portraits, either (just like my life) and I guess that is why I love the whole 'life art' concept, too. Anyway, thanks.

So nice to hear from you. I heard you were on a restful retreat. Then I found out it was by invitation only, bummer. The coast is my cup of tea and Cannon Beach is so gorgeous. My daughter and family live in Woodburn b/c she is in Vet school in Corvalis. When I visit we take the girls to Cannon Beach. My dream is to live on the coast. A nice piece of heaven + wonderful friends =,s peace and joy. I hope you experienced tons of laughter and shared all of your stories. I can see my scrapbooking technique or lack of one is changing. It's focusing on the little things I do that make me the person I am today. I put my camera on a tripod and set the timer. I have some funny shots and I'm using them on Shutterfly making one of your books. Life happens in the little everyday things we do. It has taken me time to step back and observe myself in order to know that I do little things all day long. I appreciate your candor and ability to invite all of us into your life.
Thanks Ali,
Marilyn

i highly recommend Aby's workshops. I've taken three of them and love her ideas - she's such an inspiration. I especially loved her one last Nov about Organizing for the Holidays. It made my holiday season less stressful and much more enjoyable and I was able to journal for the 25 days of Christmas - that's never happened before. It was amazing. Looking forward to the holidays this year!!! that's never happened before!!

Okay you are killing me here. I have looked at half only of these women's blogs and it is crazy how awesome all of them are. THANK YOU for sharing your time with them and their blogs. I am inspired in so many ways and full of tears too.
Here I go to read the other half.
