Clear Scraps Giveaway
Tags:Today's giveaway is sponsored by Clear Scraps. They recently generously donated some product for an upcoming benefit class/make + take I am doing in Southern Oregon. These are my four favorite products in their clear mini-book line-up:
6x6 Tab Album (5 pages, 3 ring)
All Mixed-Up (6 pages, 3 ring)
Scalloped Square Album (5 pages, 3 ring)
8x8 Tab Album (5 pages, 3 ring)
Here's a recent minibook I did that was featured in my Studio A column in the August issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine using the Scalloped Square Album:
Notice the square punch + corner rounder again?
For this album I used paint as an adhesive. I ran the outer edges of the squares through some paint and laid them down onto the acrylic. It definitely smears as you push it down, but that was part of the fun. I used much more paint on the transparent pieces and less on the photos (the photos are backed with other photos allowing me to adhere them to the acrylic album).
[ supplies : album: Clear Scraps; transparencies: Hambly Studios; paint and tiny alpha letter stickers: Making Memories, "the easter egg is pretty:" vintage ]
I have two sets of these four albums to giveaway. To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know what layout/project have you been putting off and why. Comments will be closed today (Thursday) at 5pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

I have been putting off a project about building our own home (which is now 5 years old). I do have the cover for the album, when I learned all about the glories of mod podge, but nothing else...well all the supplies, but none of the motivation. :)

I've been putting off filing the stack of photos I just have printed. I think because I know it's going to take a while. Plus I need a clean desk to have space to do it!
I also have about 50+ completed layouts that need filed. Totally putting that off.....

Recently, I have been putting off almost all my project. I just can not seem to put anything down on a layout. The only projects I have been able to complete are the 12X12 page protectors that have 4X6. I find it easier to make smaller pages and then insert my 4X6 photos.

Cute stuff!!!! I have been putting off scrapping my husband's Marine Corps career. It's 8 years worth and counting of pics and memorabilia. A very daunting task indeed.

Thanks Ali so much for your inspiration. I have been putting off my pregnancy album. I know it sounds terrible but I want it to be something our little girl can treasure as she grows older so I want it to be right! I have supplies, journaling completed and pictures but nothing has come together yet. Good luck with your pregnancy and your baby girl!

These albums are so cool! One of the projects that I have been putting off is my son's baby book - he's 3 now and I really want to make sure I get his early photos and those early thoughts that I jotted down on slips of paper together in one spot so that he can look at them down the line.

I have been putting off an album for my Mother-in-law from her 70th birthday party. Part of the reason is she is Mexican and I want the journalling to be in spanish which means I need some help from my busy husband and it is hard to find time. The other reason is I want her to really like it which is pressure I am putting on myself! I know I will get it done at some point I just need to focus!

I am new to scrapbooking and have been overwhelmed with the amount of photos I want to do. The one I have been putting off is a trip we took to Story Land in the White Mountains of NH last summer. Thanks for the opportunity, these look so cool!

My husband and I moved to a new town so he could go to grad school, and ever since we got here I've been wanting to do an album about our new home - the good and bad things, why we came here, where we want to go from here, and just the details of our everyday lives here. I'm hoping one day we can look back on it and treasure an important transitional time.
I've been putting it off, though, because I just haven't been able to come up with the perfect way to present it. I don't want it to be a huge album, but I want it to be special. I think these clear albums might be perfect for the job.
Thanks for holding a giveaway!

I think one of these would be fun to do about our 11 years of marriage. I'd call it "I can see clearly now" because of everything I've learned about my DH in the past 11 years.

WOW.... awesome giveaway.
I want to do a mini-album off a song I hear on the radio...."conversations with my 13yr old self". I want to write journal things to myself, what things will be like, what to prepare yourself for in your future, do you really want to get that perm, you did in 1984?.... I am still gathering topics and ideas for it so that is why I haven't started getting those ideas down on paper yet. Not sure what photos I really want to include? Both pictures of me now and in my teenage years. I am lookinf forward to doing this though.

I've been putting off scrapping my pregnancy (baby is now almost 8 mos old) because I want to make it a fabric mini, and I'm not buying a sewing machine til I finish my dissertation!

I'm putting off doing some trips to Sesame Place. I want to get a cricut and I know that they have a Sesame Street font coming out that my little girl would flip over.

I've been putting off my graduation layouts (grad banquet and convocation), simply because I haven't figured out how I want to lay out the pictures and layouts. Also, it's because school's started again and I don't have much time to scrap, unfortunately.
Thanks for this opportunity!

Our fall door hanger - I had so many great ideas but forgot (or rather chose to ignore) that August/September is always the busiest time for me as a lecturer and I am too stressed out to craft. Thus, I should have planned it better which also shows that we don't have 'all the time in the world' to do things but that time passes rather too quickly...

I've been putting off the creation of a mini-album documenting the birth of my new baby. Mostly because I want it to be really complete and thoughtful so I know it will require a little more "energy" than a regular scrap page. Thanks for the giveaways!

I have been putting off completing my album about our trip to Italy. I get sidetracked looking at the pictures and reliving the trip, but I also want it to be "perfect" so I don't move forward.
