Have fun & enjoy the process.
Tags:Just a quick note this morning to have fun with this project.
If you don't take as many photos as you hoped today, or if things come up, just take more tomorrow. You will be able to work with whatever you have at the end of the week.
For now, just focus on the photos, the words, and collecting some "real life stuff."
I will have a post later today with my photos and notes I have taken.
Happy Monday and enjoy the process!

This sounds like such a great idea ! I wanted to THANK YOU for such a great time this last weekend at the crop in Medford ! It was great to meet you! I was the one you harassed about bringing 15 layouts and not using any for your demo!! LOL !! By the way, I got 8 layouts completed !! Woo Hoo ! Thanks again for making my day and being there with all of us !! You were great fun, and an inspiration for all of us !

Spent last night laying out the album in 8x8 format. Very similar to our "Week in the Life" CKU class. Printed out digital "story of today" templates(Designer Digitals)... and just for fun looked to see if there were any more templates/brushes for me to use and voila! You added some great new ones. Love them ali!

Lisa: to do lists, shoppinglists, receipts from shopping, going trough your mail and maybe cut out logo's from magazines and papers and the companies that send you advertisements and bills, use (quotes from) real or e-mail. That's what I've come up with so far

I started taking photos on Sunday and I thought I'd share one more photo idea that I had - take pictures of your kids asleep each night. My kids are still little, so it was fun to see them in their contorted positions and I am sure as the week progresses I'll get even more great photos.

I'm ridiculously excited about this project - I, too, began today. My hubby is a little trepidatious, but he's playing along... already got a GREAT quote out of him before we even left the house! Is anyone else out there a Corporate type, and are you planning to take photos at the office? I'm trying to balance out the desire to document with the need to be professional as I zoom from meeting to meeting ... I'd love to hear from others juggling those same issues.

Well so far almost nothing has been "routine" today. Isn't that funny? Here I am trying to document the everyday normal stuff, and no one is cooperating! Just kidding, I guess this is reinforcing just how much life is in flux. I'm taking lots of pics, too many perhaps. I don't really know how I'm going to put this all together yet. I'm just going to focus on taking the pics and journaling and go from there.

Ali, I started yesterday, as it was my b-day and HAD to include that! Thanks for the cheerleading on this project. I seem to need more motivation to scrap than I used to when my boys were little. But I am so excited today.
