Join In : A Week In The Life

From 2005 through 2007 I taught a class at Creating Keepsakes University called A Week In The Life (the project is also highlighted in my book Life Artist). These were album classes that focus on documenting everyday details over the course of seven consecutive days. The albums themselves are definitely up there on my list of favorites.
Even though I am not teaching the class any more I want to do the project again.
Things in my life are much different right now than they were a year ago. I want to make sure I capture some of those little things - the way things look in our house, how I am feeling, our growing family (and the last few months of life as just 3), what Simon is up to, etc.
Consider yourself invited to play along. Next week will be content gathering week. From Monday through Sunday I will be using my camera and gathering "bits of life" to add to my album. The following week I will be putting the album together using supplies I have on hand.
Look for more details to come tomorrow including the categories I will be using and a list of photos to consider as you go through the week.

I took your class at CKU-Anaheim in '07 and LOVED it. I get the album out and look at it more than any other album I have. May join in again.
Thanks for the everyday inspiration, Ali. Loved the post yesterday about Sneaky Simon. He's such an awesome little fella...and he's going to make such an awesome big brother.

I'll come out and play!! I started doing this in the beginning of 2008, but a flood in our house prompted us to move into our motor home during repairs...which turned into a complete remodeling project + a room addition! A little short on space, but I can always gather my daily photos/content and save it for when we move back in! I'll have my own awesome scrap room then! Thanks for the motivation!

How fun!! Count me in. I've done a few of these pages in the past week to document a very tragic & personal experience my family has gone through (I had a miscarriage and D&C last week), so this would be the perfect opportunity to further that documentation of our everyday lives and struggles right now.

Oh, this will be fun! I was disappointed when you cancelled your trip to CT at Momento (totally understand). So this is kind of like having a different class with you online. How exciting! Can't wait to get started.
