Two of my wonderful sponsors that operate etsy shops create products that would work great in your December Daily album and each one is giving away a couple packages of goodies today.
First up: four amazing sets of tags and accents from Elles Studio.
And second: two Vintage Christmas Art Journal kits from Evalicious.

This year is my first Christmas with my parents divorced and without my Grandpa (he passed away in September). As a college student, that is a lot of change for one holiday. Therefore I am looking forward to new traditions, however different they may be, and learning to grow throughout this time. It may not be as happy of a Christmas as in the past, but where there is pain there is opportunity for growth, and I'm okay with that. This is also my first Christmas with my first boyfriend, so I'm looking forward to celebrating and baking with him :)

Hi Ali ~
I love Christmas because it forces me to slow down and focus on what the purpose of the season is. The birth of my Savior. If I remember that, I make better choices of what to give my time and energy to.
Enjoy this last Christmas with just Simon. Time is precious. Next Christmas will be full of all sorts of new memories and experiences for your family.
Take care ~ Beth

I always look forward to baking cookies with my children (6&13). I also love all the preparations of the traditional polish Christmas Eve with many generations of wonderful women.

Definitely looking forward to the smells. From the pine to the cinnamon, the cookies, the ham...even the Pledge because I will probably finally dust! Totally love the lights too...white twinkle lights, lights that decorate the houses, candle light, fireplace light. Top it off with the sounds; holiday music, bells, the sounds of family and friends gathering and chatting and the sound of glasses clinking as we toast to all our blessings.

My favorite thing is when we get the last decorations up and just have the Christmas tree lights on (it is usually at night). The house is so beautiful and cozy feeling.

I am so looking forward to spending time with family and receiving letters and photos from those far away. Yes it is alot of work to get all your greetings done but it is so worth it to me.
Ali, I am not surprised that your blog is rated that high. You put such wonderful, thought provoking ideas and projects out there. Thank you for all you do.

I am looking forward to balancing the living in the moment and capturing the moment. I really want to relax and enjoy the holidays and not get "sucked in" to all the craziness.

Wow, 1400 comments already!!!
I love being with family. We alternate each year. Even years with my family, odd years with my husband's family...we live away from everyone. :-( But, our son loves the fact that he is with extended family every Christmas!
Thanks!

I am most looking forward to spending the holiday with my son after a very difficult divorce this summer. Spending it together, with a roof over our head and enough money with which to pay the gas bill. We have our health and each other, so I don't need any presents to make my holiday a good one.

Every year I look forward to the baking with my kids. I love getting them into the kitchen and busy baking cookies, breads, and all of those wonderful yearly treats. There is something about the laughter, the smells, and the wonder of cookie making that I just love about the holidays!

I am looking forward to seeing my children's faces on Christmas morning. That was always my favorite time as a child and now I love to watch the same joy on their faces and relive those moments through them.
And just have to say that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Evalicious's stuff. I have visited her Etsy shop many times!

I can't travel home, so I Skype with my nieces and nephews the entire holiday weekend... they are constantly running to the computer to show my a present or tell me a story or just chat (or ask permission to do something that I always say yes to). I love getting to be there even when I'm not.

I am looking forward to being with family this year for the holidays. Last year we were elsewhere and I decided I did not want to repeat that experience this year. It is so precious to spend some quality time with family. As I get older, I realize we start and end with our lives with family so it is more important than ever to me. My birthday is Halloween so it is the beginning of the "holidays" for me.
