What am I most looking forward to? Oh my! I LOVE Christmas so it is almost impossible to say one thing that I most look forward to, but I guess I would have to say that getting to spend special time with my family doing special things together is the best. I always look forward to picking out and decorating the tree, baking cookies, playing Christmas music, going to Grandmas and a host of other great activities that make the holiday wonderful!

Oh my first up I have to say that vintage journal is just simply gorgeous... dreams already running through my head...
what will we do this Christmas? Remember our loved ones who are no longer with us... cherish the new family members who have joined our little family... a new step dad and even two sisters...
for us this year it will not be about travelling, not about making planes or ferries... not about travelling from one end of the country to the other but about being at home and enjoying our time together.. having our family come to us if they can...
it will be about the girls being excited with the thought of Santas impending visit... of creating decorations for their trees... of simply enjoying the season and sharing the love with others!

I'm looking forward to S L O W I N G D O W N. I try really hard to get my Christmas "stuff" done before December 1st so I can spend the month of December with my family doing enjoyable things we want to do - decorating, looking at lights, playing in the snow, baking, etc. The hard work before hand pays off with a peaceful holiday.

I am looking forward to he sound of bells jingling. It seems like when the Chirstmas season is upon us, no matter where I am, what store I'm in, I can always hear jingle bells, whether it's from a toy, a song, or a collection volunteer outsite... I love how that sound overcomes the hurriedness and stress that sometimes comes during this time of year!
Of course, I'm also looking forward to family and friends, hot chocolate with whipped cream and Andes mini peppermint chips and red sprinkles... I really love everything about Christmas!

Hello Ali - wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed seeing your Daily Christmas Album 2008. Wonderful. I'm hoping to get one ready, too.
My most favorite thing about the holidays is having my kids home from college. My husband and I love having our grown children around. I love when my whole family is in the same town, in the same house; even my newly-married daughter lives within 2 miles. And the scents: the baking, the real tree, the cranberry or pine candles burning. I love the holidays!!

I am most looking forward to It's a Wonderful Life, peppermint hot chocolate, snuggles in the rain, and buying/creating presents for the people (and pets) I love.

What I'm most looking forward to is that warm special feeling you get only at this time of the year, you know the feeling I'm talking about...It's that wonderful nostalgic feeling that you get looking back through holiday pictures from your childhood and remembering all the special times and traditions from Christmas' past...it makes you all warm and fuzzy inside! =)

I am looking forward to Christmas music, lighting cinnamon and pine-scented candles in our home, choosing photos for our Christmas cards and making Year in Review books to give as Christmas presents.

Ever since we moved away from our family/friends in NY some time ago, Christmases have been melancholy, as much as we have tried to make them cheerful for everyone. But this is the first year my daughter is able to GRASP Christmas (she just turned three) and she's already super excited about it.
So I'm really, REALLY excited to have someone to "do" the whole holiday season with. Someone who believes in the magic, who will marvel over the lights, who hopes Santa will come, who will be in awe over every decoration; someone to really get into the spirit of the season with.
I am SO excited for this- it's already made the whole holiday special again.

Oh boy... too many to mention! But how about hot cocoa in front of the fire, decorating the tree with the kids, holiday dinners with family and friends, picking out new ornaments, making a Christmas wreath, and of course, scrapbooking it all!

Hi Ali - congrats on the blog reaching the Top 1000 Ranked blogs. How wonderful to have such a following . . .
The Holidays . . . I love everything from the scents, to the shopping, to my family all being home from college, the baking and the wrapping. I love all of it and am getting pumped about it when reading your blog. I'm seriously thinking about the Daily Christmas Album but not sure what to put in it yet.
Thanks for the giveaways!

What I look forward the most in the holiday season is the items my kids make in school. I love the paper gingerbread man, holidays books, decor, and ornaments they make. I have a special box just for these items to preserve them because there are so precious and sweet.
