We have been living overseas and this will be the first Christmas in many years that the whole family is together. I can't wait to watch all the cousins interact, get to know each other and create their own lasting memories and traditions. I am also looking forward to a melting together of all our different traditions - especially as several of us have lived overseas and adopted some of the cool "foreign" traditions! We will share and learn and build new traditions together. It will be great to have this quality family time together. Oh, and because I live south of the equator, I am looking forward to the Christmas Day BBQ and afternoon beach football!!

spending quiet time with the kids under the glow of Christmas lights...yeah, for all of about 5 minutes and then it'll be crazy again, but I will cherish those 5 minutes.

I am looking forward to decorating (day after Thanksgiving for me) and creating a holiday album for the 25 days leading up to the big day. Taking my son to see Santa and just the joy on his face on Christmas morning. I have been out of work since May and I am really embracing living simply and keeping things small. Which is my goal for the holidays as well. Just enjoying time with DH & DS and enjoy the time of the year without going all nuts. And to enjoy any time spent with friends and family of course. I never enjoyed Christmas much but since having my son it has really been so much fun. I love seeing it through his fresh eyes and heart.

Christmas is for FAMILY -- the cookies, the presents, the tree, the lights...they're all fun because we're doing them together. And I love that.

oh my goodness ali, this is so generous of you, the goods look fabulous!
what we look forward to most is the cutting of our own tree. the location, the people we go with, the search, finding THE perfect tree.
i'm also looking forward to embracing a season of 'giving' of myself to those less fortunate this year.
cheers to the holidays, rachel

This holiday season, I am most looking forward to having Christmas morning with my kids and my husband. He's been on an unaccompanied tour in Korea for the last year, and finally, in December, we will all be together again. And, we'll be in Italy, in a new house to boot!

I'm looking forward to the time spent with the kids. We have the opportunity to take time off at Christmas and with the kids being off from school it is so nice to just have time to hang together. Not scheduled activities just real family time together. (And I love the Christmas fruitcake!)
