Ali, thank you for your wonderful inspiration with the Christmas album! I love it! I am really looking forward to putting up our tree and decorating it with the kids. But the thing I am most looking forward to is going home to my family. Watching our kids be with their grandmothers and aunts, uncles and cousins. My Mum will finish her first round of radiation just before Christmas (she has breast cancer) so this will be a very special Christmas for us.

For me, the holiday season is during summer (Australia), so I look forward to the sun and being on the beach on Christmas day. It's fantastic!

This year will be my first Christmas to spend with my husband's grandmother. I'm really looking forward to it. Plus, I'm planning on bringing a notepad to jot down all of her stories so I can make a special album for her.

It will be our first Christmas as homeowners. I can't wait to start new traditions and keep the old ones going. I am as giddy as a 5 year old on Christmas morning! Mandy

Congrats on being in the Top 1000, Ali...though I happen to think you're in the Top 5.
This holiday season, I'm looking forward to spending time with family. I am a nurse and have worked the last 5 Christmases...but will have this year off. I'm just looking forward to enjoying the day and remembering the reason for the season.

Hi Ali,
My husband's family is from Holland, so we celebrate Sinterklaas on December 5th (the Dutch version of Christmas). I anticipate this all year long. We leave our shoes by the fireplace and Sinterklaas fills them with goodies. Family members draw names and we make a homemade "gag" gift for that person. A silly poem is written with the gag gift, and we all have a good laugh. We eat a special Holland dinner and listen to Dutch Christmas music through out the evening. I love that my children are introduced to another culture. It reminds us that children all over the world have their own way of celebrating this wonderful holiday season.
Thanks Ali, for all you do - you truly are inspiring.

Unfortunatley this year I will be working so my darling husband and children will spend it with his parents and I will join them for dessert and present later in the night... and the day after will be spent with my parents.

I love the idea of December Daily! I also love your suggestion that it be done before December. Thanks for inspiring me to get an early start on things.

For me this holiday season will be about reflecting on how much I have to be grateful for. Six months ago a team of doctors told my family to prepare to say goodbye that I would not live through the night. What an awesome GOD we have..that is what I am looking forward to this year..PURE GRATITUDE & JOY!!

I am so looking forward to watching the Christmas movies that I always watch during the holiday season. I always watch The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Grinch, and Elf. I am also looking forward to going to Chicago's Celebration of lights festival. It is their Christmas kick-off weekend featuring a Disney parade in which Mickey lights all the trees on Michigan Avenue. It is so much fun and very magical!
