This year I'm really looking forward to watching my daughter experience the holidays. She's 2 1/2 and I feel like this year is the first year she is really going to understand what it is all about.
So looking forward to doing this album. Got my book today and am excited to start working on the pages.

I look forward to watching my oldest son experience the holiday with new (older) eyes... watching my youngest experience his first holiday season. Spending time with family. Creating holiday traditions and continuing some we started the past few years. Christmas music!

The arrival of my first grand baby, a girl and her name is "Graycie Elizabeth." I am probably the most excited future Grandma that you would ever meet!!! Can you tell?
This beautiful album would be so awesome to journal the days in waiting for her.
Please draw my name.
Thank you Ali,
Cindy (Texas)

The thing I am MOST looking forward to this Holiday season is being together as a family! My husband travels extensively for business during the year and we are fortunate to have him for the weekends. However, as is understandable, we share these weekends with friends and extended family who also want to spend time with us. Fortunately, my husband always takes the week between Christmas and New Year off and we enjoy just being together as a loving unit of five sharing good times and making happy memories!

My favorite part about the holidays starts with Thanksgiving. For the last several years we have all gathered together at my home which is wonderful because as time goes on we seem to get (geographically) further apart. That really puts me in the holiday spirit! :-)

I am looking forward to spending lots of time with my family with lots of hugs - I have lost my Grandfather and my Aunt this year, so spending time with my family is just so very precious.

Spending more time with my girls and husband. Going to Disneyland and seeing it all decorated - wrapping presents! Just a few of my favorite things about the holidays.
Thanks for all of your inspiration.

Two years ago my side of the family started giving gifts that are homemade. No price limit on the high end or the low end, just made from the heart! We have been given homemade jam from my sister's blackberry bush, stitched pillow cases from my mom, and a family recipe book that get's added to each year from my niece. This year my 10 year old daughter is thrilled to be finished with her gifts already. She made the clothespin santa and mrs. claus from Martha Stewart's website.
So to answer your question? I am looking forward to the gift giving and receiving!

I'm most looking forward to slowing down. I promised myself that I would complete my billable hour requirements by Dec. 18th this year so that I can have a few weeks of uninterrupted time with my family. My 3.5 year old and I picked out a small pink pre-lit tree for her room and we are both talking about gum drop ornaments for it. I can't wait.

This will be my first Christmas single in 15 years. I'm looking forward to really thinking about what the holiday means for me personall. Which traditions are meaningfull and which are not. I expect I'll be doing a lot of journaling!

Oh, what don't I love about the holidays. This December I look forward to:
celebrating my 5th wedding anniversary - just as we always do, with Hawaiian Pizza.
watching my two favorite Christmas movies - The Christmas Toy and Christmas on Sesame Street - with my kids.
baking Christmas cookies with my kids
listening to Christmas music in the car non-stop for 30 days - especially The Beach Boys Christmas, which my mom always listened to
having Christmas dinner back home with all of my family
all of the awesome decorations that take an entire month to put out, and usually stay out until Valentine's day
Ooohhh - I love Christmas!
