I love the holiness of the season, the music and sharing the joy with our children. Our oldest is a high school senior so this is our last year of having everyone home for the entire season...a bittersweet thought for me. I love the idea of a December journal to capture those thoughts and moments. Thank you for the inspiration!

for the first time in years i am actually looking forward to many things. looking forward to spending more time with my family & especially my gram, uncle & aunt that were not suppose to even still be alive. each have been blessed & are still here. also looking forward to baking, driving around seeing lights, etc; looking forward to seeing the positives in the holidays instead of the negatives I usually focused on. Thank you Ali for all your inspiration & positive outlook you have put in my life.

My thirteen month old son gets excited about everything right now (so cute) and I can't wait to see his face light up on Christmas Day.

I love the snow at Holiday time! I love the crowds at the stores! I love the look of awe on the face of my son when we go into Toys R Us and he tells me that he wants "everything". I love shopping for gifts for my family and friends.
And I love buying Christmas themed scrapbooking supplies :)

I'm looking forward to decorating the house with my kids, baking cookies, the smell of the Christmas tree, the two weeks off from school that I'll have my Kindergartener home and a yummy mug of German mulled wine on Christmas morning.

I love coming home to a house that is decorated on the outside - aglow in holiday lights and sitting in the family room w/ the tree lit up and sipping wine!

My husband and I have been married 20 years, and this will be the FIRST year that we spend Christmas morning in our home, alone together! I'm looking forward to sharing that time with each other...fixing breakfast, exchanging our gifts, and being "us".

It is so very hard to pick a favorite thing about the holiday season - there are so many things I love about it. But I will pick two - driving around looking at Christmas lights with a huge carload of family and friends and sitting in my living room with all the lights out except for the Christmas lights and my favorite Oak Ridge Boys Christmas music playing from when I was like 10 years old. Ok - one more, I love all the baking, baking and more baking. And I love to give someone the perfect give that they just love and maybe even brings tears to their eyes. Ok - I'm done. Thanks for the chance to win!

I am most looking forward to doing this year's holiday season completely different. I am vowing to focus on special family moments rather than on my endless To Do list, and actually ENJOY the season rather than be stressed out by it.

Hi Ali. These two Etsy shop items look terrific for the December Daily album.
My husband and I are going to spend some of our holiday time at Disneyworld. We lost a good friend at the end of September and our little Yorkie a few weeks ago. We want to spend the time together and enjoying life. I plan on keeping up my album while I'm at Disney. Thank you.

Annual traditions: my parent's Christmas open house, potluck dinner with my painting class, christmas lunch with my co-workers. Notice they all involve food!

I am looking forward to going home to Connecticut for the holidays. I only get to see my parents a few times a year, so I treasure them when they occur.

My son is 14 months so this will be his second Christmas, but his first where he is beginning to be actively engaged in everything. I am most looking forward to starting some great Christmas traditions with him. Some from me, some from my husband, and some brand new ones we are starting! I always love the holiday season, but this year I am excited to take a different view and see it all through my sons eyes. It's a free chance to be a kid again!!!

I simply love the "mood" of everyone around the holiday season. Everyone seems a little bit happier, more friendly and more giving. I think the magic of the season, for both adults and children, just warms our hearts.
