i'm really looking forward to seeing the holidays through my son's eyes this year. he is almost 3, so he will definitely realize that something special is going on. i'm hoping to make it to midnight mass this year for the candlelight service, and i'm really looking forward to starting many of the traditions people posted about last year.

Although I love decorating our home and the Christmas tree, what I enjoy most about the holiday season is spending time with my family and friends and document our memories together. I plan on doing the Christmas journal as I did last year and it's one of the kid's favourite mini to look at til this day.

Looking forward to a relatively stress free holiday (it's all in the planning), so I can focus on spending time with friends, family and enjoying the true meaning of the season.

Gathering with family and friends, lots of happiness and stories, the warmth of home, decorating, yummy food. It goes by so quickly!

We live on the NC SC border so this year because we see very little snow we hope to go to the mountains for a snow day this year. Maybe even stay a few days weather permitting of course. Thanks for all your great ideas, even easy enough for me!!!

This will be my first Christmas I will spend with my husband (he's in the USAF). woohoo! Oh, and of course egg nog- om, nom, nom.

This year I am determined to get ahead of the holiday madness and really be in the moment throughout the season - looking so forward to doing this with my girls and hubbie this year! Love the items and would love to be picked this time!

wow, both of those are awesome. this season will be our first with our little girl home. i really want to focus on the spirit of the season this year and not the gifts.

I love having time off work to spend with family & friends! Also can't wait for cooler weather & Christmas shopping!

I'm due in about 14 days, so for me it will be having a new baby in teh house at Christmas. It's our first so it will new and exciting.

I cannot wait to put up the Christmas decorations. It makes the spirit of Christmas just come alive. I love watching my daughter who absolutely loves the holidays and seeing Christmas through her eyes.

I am most looking forward to spending time with my family, I have been very busy working P/t, and getting my teaching license, knowing that I will finally have time this holiday season to spend time with all three of my families is a great feeling!

What I look forward to every Christmas are those rare, quiet moments amidst all the chaos. With all the shopping, baking, wrapping, cleaning and organizing that we all do, it is too easy to lose focus of what is truly important. The quiet moments, like stringing popcorn with my kids for our tree while watching one of our favourite Christmas movies, or curling up and reading “Twas the night before Christmas” (even though my kids know the whole story by heart now), taking a walk at night during a snowfall, when it is so quiet and peaceful outside...these are my most precious moments.

i'm looking forward to some serious baking (and giving away the goods). i've gotten really into semi-gourmet baking in the last year and i have a ton of new recipes that i'm stoked to try.

I'm looking forward to getting our tree and decorating it with my kiddos. I love the smell of the fresh tree in our house and seeing all of our ornaments from the past.
Especially the baby ones and of course photo ones.
