I most look forward to watching the wonder of Christmas through the eyes of children. Even though my kids are older (19 & 13) there is still an excitement for the holiday that can only be seen through their eyes.

My favorite thing about the holidays is making gingerbread houses filled with explosives. (http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=18i3k3je.71wz6r7q&x=0&y=gxvgpp&localeid=en_US) BEST way to get rid of those stupid things!!

I am just looking forward to cold nights when I can snuggle down with a cup of hot chocolate! I also hope to try out some new baking recipes to share with my family and friends. Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration; your creations are so beautiful!

The one thing I am looking forward to is continuing our family traditions of picking out a tree, driving around and looking at lights after having hot chocolate and scones from Winder Farms and doing the 12 days of Christmas to an unsuspecting (yet well-deserving) neighbor.

I am most looking forward to an annual girl's day out that my best friend and I host each year. It entails a little bit of everything, shopping, wrapping, baking and best of all laughing and sharing with friends and family!

I am looking forward to all of it...the whole season. He lights, the baking, the decorating, just the feeling of the season. Looking forward to planning dinner for the whole family with my 13 year old son who has the perfect Christmas spirit. And looking forward to making the everyday album this year! Yay!

Honestly, I find the whole season very stressful and busy, but I'm going to try the December daily album and try to concentrate on my appreciation of the little things...and not getting overwhelmed with all the holiday hoopla. Another thing I'd like to do is to document the ornaments we've purchased on our trips to different places around the world...

I am looking forward to spending time with my family. I love listening to Christmas music while we decorate the tree, make cookies and make Christmas cards. I try to make Christmas special for my young boys. I try not to get too caught up in the commercialization but focus on the true meaning.

I'm looking forward to putting up my tree - I collect ornaments as I travel and I love the memories I have whenever I look at them. I'm most looking forward to spending time at home with my family. I don't get to see them a lot so the holidays are wonderful!

I always look forward to just the feeling of Christmas. The warmth that comes with it, the emphasis on family and being together, celebrating...the love. In a nutshell, that's it.

I most look forward to time with friends and family that I don't always get.
Once again this year we will be opening our home for a dessert open house in the late evening of Christmas. Friends & family stop by, visit, having some yummy treats, sing some songs and play some games.
Can't forget Christmas breakfast - that has to be my family’s favorite: Cinnamon Rolls from Cinnabon & Orange Juice. Yum, yum!
Oh I can't wait....now that you got me thinking about it.

I love the holidays, no matter what... the chance to reflect on what's important, great time with our families, and all the memories and traditions we celebrate.
Our celebrations will be a little bittersweet this year as we are all missing my brother, who recently deployed to the middle east. For me, I will create a December Daily project as my way to stay connected and share the holidays with him - memories of our childhood Christmases, notes on what's happening here, photos of the snow that he so loves. It is already more challenging than I ever imagined, but it's also making me think deeply about what really matters to me - which is what I most love about the holiday season.

I am really looking forward to a very SIMPLE Christmas. This year our entire family has set spending limits on gifts (1/2 of what was spent last year), agreed to 'potluck' Christmas dinner, and focus on handmade and more thoughtful giving. 'More' is definitely 'out' at our house. We plan to relax, and spend more time with each other at home making gifts and celebrating each other and the season.

I love your December albums. I am most looking forward to being with my family. We are finally able to take my kids to my parents for Christmas again. We haven't been able to since 2003. I am looking forward to all of the traditions that I grew up with, and still continue at my home, but with the people I grew up with. It is going to be a week of heaven. I am so glad that my girls will be able to experience Christmas with the WHOLE family this year.
