Can't wait to see my kids faces on Christmas morning, one of surprise and happiness. They are so young and everything is still new and exciting to them.

What I'm looking forward to most is the scent of winter! I know it's such a crazy thing to say but there is nothing like walking outside and the first think you smell is...winter! It instantly reminds me of what lies ahead: family, pumpkin pies, christmas lights, hot apple cider, cutting down christmas trees, decorations...This is definitely my favorite time of the year!

I love celebrating Christ's birth at Christmas, family, traditions, advent calendars, Christmas cookies, decorating the house, special Christmas activities (last year we did the Polar Express train--I hope you enjoy this year), stocking presents... Plus our daughter has a birthday the 26th--crazy! She'll turn 7. Last year I made a daily December album--thank you!

Just one thing??? That's hard. Usually I would say that I'm looking forward to Christmas morning with just my husband and kids opening presents and relaxing in our pajamas. It's a nice peaceful time before I have to start getting ready for company. This year, however, I'm really looking forward to our first trip on the Polar Express out of North Conway, NH. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we don't have a blizzard the weekend we're planning to go.

I always LOVE seeing family, baking treats for friends, wrapping presents, christmas music and movies but the two new things this year that have me really excited are:
1. Sending out a photo holiday card. Silly but true.
2. Getting to go back to teaching after this holiday season.

We have so many traditions that I look forward to - baking cookies, decorating the house, creating homemade gifts - but I think my most favorite is going (with all of our friends and family) to a Christmas tree farm to cut down our own!

Awesome giveaways, Ali. I'm looking forward to starting my album. I didn't do it last year, but I hope to fit it in this year. You're so inspiring!
The holiday season for me is all about the magic of the season. Taking the time to enjoy little and big things - decorations, the music, shopping, baking, moments with family, considering the needs of others, putting up the tree and admiring it each day, etc. My husband and I bought a house this year, so it'll be an extra special Christmas in our new house.

I am looking forward to everything, :) but I think the most is just spending time with my family. Just being together, watching a movie, baking cookies, making gifts...whatever it is, I'm looking forward to it!
Thank you also for the inspiration for the December Daily album. I'm going to give it a try. I just finished my week in the life album, and absolutely LOVE it! I can't believe I stuck with it all the way through! Thanks for letting us play along with you! Hugs!

I am most looking forward to the quality time I get to spend with my hubby and my kids while we decorate our house for the holidays. We all get silly and dance around to Christmas music in our pjs while we put the tree up and deck the halls. Can't wait!!!

I'm looking forward to slowing down and spending time with my husband and two children, who live in the same house with me. However, school, sports, and work committments have made life too hectic and we need some holiday vacation down time!

What I am most looking forward to this Christmas is being with my family. My brothers live in different states and I only get to see them a few times a year. For this Christmas, my mom and I scanned in all the Christmas Cards from 1958 up to the present and made a little book for each member of the family -- A way to show off our family tradition! I can't wait for them to see it!

I'm just excited to spend the holidays with my family. My kiddos are at a fun age (9 and 5)and so much fun. They are big enough to do things like help bake and decorate, but still young enough that it is pure joy to see the holiday thru their eyes.

Every year, I think I look forward most to the time spent with my kids.
When they get out of school for break, we play board and video games together. We have holiday movie-a-thons.
And everyone's favortie part, comes on Christmas Eve when we bake holiday treats together. Every one of my kids picks what they want to make and one-by-one me and that child make their chosen treat together.
I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS!

The music and the cookies. Definitely. Then there are the movie nights. The cocoa dunks. The annual ornaments. Santa Lucia...

I look most forward to the cheery attitudes that most people have (unless/until they're frstrated from shopping) and the music that lifts my spirits, keeps me whistling and humming and singing.
