I am most looking forward to spending time with family, and getting some holiday baking done. I love baking in the kitchen with the kids. We are going to make carmel apples this year and decorate sugar cookies. I am trying to make this a tradition with the kids.
Have a great day.

I'm looking forward to our first "simple" Christmas. In the past, we've overdone EVERYTHING -- decorating, cooking, gifts, etc.
As a family, we had a meeting (me, DH, my 10 and 7 year old sons and 4 year old daughter) and each of us picked one favorite thing to focus on.
We ended up with: one cookie baking day, cutting our own tree, family story time every night, advent calendar with little treats/gifts (!), christmas tree for the birds).
We're going to just say no to the rest of the hullabaloo and focus on what we care most about. I'm anxious to document in my December daily album.

This year, I'm most looking forward to being in our new-to-us little home and being able to deck it out with lots of pretty decorations.

I always look forward to the holiday baking! I'm also looking forward to seeing my boys experience the season. They are 2 and 4, so we are really at fun ages for Santa! I also really look forward to holiday shopping with my Mom. Since I was still living at home, me and my Mom would do a "power shopping" day a few weeks before Christmas-just us. Now that I'm grown and have kids of my own, I really love this time together with my Mom. So fun!

I am a creature of family traditions and all things seasonal but I think I look forward to the whole season of giving. We have 4 little ones and trying to teach them by example that Christmas is so much more than getting presents. So I look forward to our family spending time making cookies, and picking out blankets and gifts for the shelters. I look forward to watching the kids shop for a child who is less fortunate, and I look forward to finding new service projects this year. It's just a perfect time of year when we are all wrapped up in the warmth of family and home to help my kids see the needs of the world around us and be the warmth for someone else.

This will be our first Christmas at home in 11 years of marriage! We will not be traveling this year! I am really looking forward to creating some traditions with my children and can't wait to get started.

I am SO excited that this Christmas (somewhere in December/early Jan) we will be bringing home our new daughter. We're adopting a little girl (7yo) from Ethiopia and she will, god willing, be home with us to enjoy her FIRST Christmas. I can't even stand how excited I am!!!

What I am most looking forward to is the Christmas tree lights. They are so magical. I love to lay under the tree and look up at them...

I am most looking forward to having ALL my kids home...2 are in college and are flying home for Thanksgiving....we can't afford to have them come home too often, so this will be such a treat! I can't wait to have all of us laughing, talking, eating and playing fun games together.

I love the children's reactions to all the holiday decorations. Right now, they're small enough to appreciate all the little details, that go into the festivities, and the stories behind each one.
Hmmm . . . that just gave me a new idea for a mini album. LOL I'm off to jot down a list of photos I need to take, along with some stories! Thanks for the inspiration!

Going home! I'm in my third year at Virginia Tech and nine hours away from my family. It's a super long drive, but I've already started counting down until I get to head home for a month of winter break.

Most looking forward to our daughter's first Christmas - and watching her 4-yr old brother teach her all about it.
Planning my minibook - those kits would be very helpful. Would love one!

I'm looking forward to the feeling, you know? There is just something about that season. Family, love, friendship, faith. All of it comes together in December. I'm putting together a December album - it is such a great idea and the time got away from me last year! I would love to win these goodies to make this album look amazing!
Thanks, Ali - and congrats on the success of the website!

My husband and I are going to Japan to see our daughter who's in the Navy. We haven't seen her in a year. I plan to make my book as a way to document the preparation and details of the trip. This will be a fun way to have everything ready prior to the event.
