What I'm most looking forward to *this* holiday season is slowing down to really live in the moment. Soaking up time with family, giving baked goods to elderly friends, and just focusing on, and remembering Why we celebrate!

We are looking forward to making the first of the season's hot chocolate made with real cream like The Pioneer Woman made on her blog a couple of week's ago. We always wait until after Thanksgiving's boiled custard to drag out the hot chocolate. Just something homey feeling sitting around under a crocheted blanket and nursing hot chocolate with both hands! Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm!

What I most want to do is embrace the true meaning of this season and to share this celebration and all the love and warmth with my kids! For them to truely understand would be my greatest joy!

The Christmas holidays are my favorite time of year. Each year, I try to be more at peace (less stressed out) so that I can truely enjoy time with my family. This year I am feeling even better, because I have pre-planned and done some shopping already (unheard of!) So I will put my December Daily album together, get out the decorations, and look forward to a joyous and fun-filled holiday! Thanks for all your inspiration, Ali!

I think this year because it is going to be tight I feel like we will appreciate what we have and the time together instead of worrying if I bought enough things. We can plan special family things all month long. It won't be about the money but the memories we can create. I would love these things for my 25 days of christmas book to document this. Thanks so much!! Dawn H

I'm looking forward to putting up the tree with the kids. Last year was the first year I got all three to help and they loved it. We put on music, brought out the boxes and let them go. We did break a few ornaments but that's ok. That means we get to buy a few new ones this year.

Let's see, I think I am most looking forward to just enjoying things as they happen. I am trying to get everything ready beforehand so I can relax. I have all of the presents bought and made a holiday planner to store receipt, wish lists, addresses, and recipes. My goal is to be organized and ahead of the curve before the craziness of December starts.

I'm looking forward to family time and experiencing every moment I can. My words for this year are "be involved" so I want to just live each moment, rather than letting it rush by me. I have been planning ahead so I can embrace the season!

I love everything about the holiday time! The smells, the lights and the time spent with family. Enjoying the traditions that I started as a child with my girls and knowing that someday they will share with their children.

I am most looking forward to the traditions. Baking cookies, decorating the tree and talking about the ornaments, making tags for gifts, writing out cards... just the details and traditions that we do every year. Oh, and adding some new ones too!

this year is the first year I'm living with my boyfriend, so that is what I'm most looking forward to ... we will spend Christmas with our families of course, but we'll get to decorate our first tree together, make Christmas decorations and bake cookies together, and just generally be very much in love. I'm so looking forward to it!

I am looking forward to times with family and friends. And especially Christmas Eve with family and just watching the grandchildren (ages 12-20) interacting and teasing and laughing with each other. Such great memories are made then.

oh Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year. Every year we always try and give to the needy ie. Christmas Cheer board, shoeboxes for Samaritan's purse, etc. We hope this year to get our 2 year old involved so she begins to learn the real meaning behind Xmas and try to instill the gift of giving.
