First up: four amazing sets of tags and accents from Elles Studio.
And second: two Vintage Christmas Art Journal kits from Evalicious.

Besides the daily december album project this year, I am looking forward to my kids decorating their special Christmas tree (it was inherited from my grandfather). They use all homemade ornaments made by my grandmother and they take such great care to make it beautiful. It would make my grandfather proud to know this is our tradition.

For the first time in a long while, it will just be our little foursome. I think it's actually going to be really nice stepping away from the fray and just enjoying each other.

Decorating the cristmastree with my six year old son. He's always delighted to see the lights and the ornament. And he's so proud of himself when the tree is finished and he loves it. Nothing is better then seeing the joy in his eyes. Bye Irene

The sights and smells are probably the top of the list. Then the food, too much! Then all the old Christmas carols.
Thanks for all the inspiration!

I'm most looking forward to exchanging stockings for the 1st time with my recently widowed best friend. We thought it would be something for her to look forward to & be happy about this Christmas without her husband--so I'm SO excited to send her some love & cheer :)

Hi Ali -- what great prizes, wow!
I am really looking forward to spending time at home with my husband. We usually fly to Ohio for Chrstimas to visit our families -- and while that is tons of fun, it will be good to have just the two of us this year.

I really want to SIMPLIFY this year and make it more about the time our family will spend together.
Rick Steves, my favorite travel guru, has a DVD that I watch each holiday season that features the Christmas customs of several European countries. It is so heartwarming to see the families celebrating an UN-commercialized Christmas...I can't watch it without getting teary. That's what I want for our family. :-) If you haven't seen it, try to catch it on PBS. It's great. :-)

I look forward to spending Christmas with my husband's family. He hasn't been home on Christmas in over 20 years. So that will be nice.
We usually spend Thanksgiving there, but this year he started a new job so Christmas works better for us.
Now it I could only talk him into the 14 hour drive at both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Life would be perfect.

I think the anticipation of it all is the best part! But I love our annual family outing to the Christmas tree farm, and baking cookies & listening to Christmas music together, and all of the Christmas Eve traditions we have with my side of the family.
