i love your blog ali! thanks for all your great ideas
i am most looking forward to the opportunity teaching my young children about the true meaning of christmas... not only through the story of christ's birth, but also by the way my husband and I choose to live our lives and reflect the love of jesus onto our family.

I look forward too celebrating the holidays with my 10 week old baby girl and my family. My favorites are decorating the tree, baking, playing board games, shopping day with my mom and sitting around talking and laughing with my family.

I am looking forward to decorating my new (old) home which will include adding some red (more traditional) to my blue, silver and white decorations from the past, having a real tree and decorating my beautiful farmer's porch- not sure how yet but I am very excited!

After relocating 7.5 hours (by car) away from my family, I look most forward to being able to spend time with them.

    Dear Ali,
I am from Adelaide, Australia so Christmas time for me is about summer, and beach holidays rather than snow and jumpers. I love the build up to Christmas though with decorating the house, looking at Christmas lights and remembering the Christmas story. I hope to document some of my favourite Christmas traditions this year, to share with my niece and nephew when next I see them. And then on boxing day it is about watching the cricket and eating left overs before packing up to go to the coast for a few precious days. Thanks for sharing you creativeness with us all. It is the one blog I check each day and it keeps me thinking and creative! I a just waiting for my birthday present (my first digital camera) to be able to participate in your challenges more fully! The day in the life challenge is still in pieces at home, but I have the record and I will get it done! Maybe after Christmas with warm sea breezes...
    thanks again

SO much amazing inspiration here on your blog! WOW! I am so going to do this!! :) I can't wait to get started!
I really look forward to this Christmas. Last year I had a month-old baby and we couldn't afford any gifts... this year things are still tight, but looking better. I know that it won't matter what we get my daughter (her name is ALLIE!!)... all that matters to me is documenting the little things we do. You bet I'll have that camera out ALL. THE. TIME. There is something magical about December and I love everything about it!

Wow, what cool gifts! I'm most looking forward to spending quality time with my Mom...she's 83 and ailing a bit. Each year I think maybe this will be our last Christmas together. They live in Nebraska most of the year, so it's always nice to have them with us in Florida for the holidays.

My favorite thing to look forward to is our annual family visit to Longwood Garden's. They have the most fabulous indoor Christmas display. Last year I had walking pneumonia and didn't think we were going to make it but on Christmas day I was feeling a little better so we made a quick trip and they were open! Can't wait to see it this year hopefully sickness free.

I am looking forward to less rushed, more thoughtful celebratory activities. Last January I made notes of what worked, what didn't, and will use those notes as a guide for this year.: )

I love the anticipation - the build-up to the big day (although I'm a little sad as two of my children won't be home for Christmas). Love the December project Ali!

I am most looking forward to decorating the house with the kids and doing all the fun holiday traditions with them. Going to the holiday parade, baking cookies, buying/wrapping gifts, opening the advent boxes daily in December, playing in the snow, and reading holiday books. So fun!

My kids are at the perfect age where each year brings more understanding of what Christmas is about. I love watching the progression through these years.

The think I'm most looking forward to is going home to spend a month with my family! I live a really long way away from them and I don't get to see them often enough, so a whole month with them is pure bliss :)

This will be a special yet difficult Christmas for my family. We lost my father-in-law unexpectedly and my brother-in-law will return to Iraq in January. However, the whole family - 14 in all - are taking a Disney Cruise just before the holidays. We will celebrate old memories and make new ones to carry us into a new year.
