Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We celebrate the fall season by decorating the house, visiting the apple orchard, baking yummy fall treats, going on walks to collect beautiful leaves and jumping in leaf piles in the yard!

How do you celebrate such a great season? Bundling up on the couch with a nice cup of coffee in the morning sharing the warmth with loved ones.

To celebrate Fall we not only have fun decorating and figuring out what we want to be for Halloween( my two boys ages 8 and 11 are past the cute costumes, ugh!) we spend alot of time together indoors doing what most would consider old fashion, we play lots of board games, watch movies, etc., trying to keep my youngest ones asthma at bay and distracting him so he doesn't realize he is the only kid not running around outside. I always try to see the silver lining in everything good and bad and because he has such bad asthma this time of the year we get to spend more quaility time together as a family.

Going as family and picking apples and then going and getting cider & donuts. Then we usually go to my families farm for a big Halloween party.
Thanks!

Our standard three fall things we do: go to our local pumpkin farm for picking and a hayride, create our front porch scarecrow and attend our church's Fall Fest where we pig out and play games!!! AHHH, I LOVE FALL!!!

Pumpkins, raking leaves, a trip to a local marsh to watch the Canadian geese flying in (this is AMAZING to see). New for this year is a small local music festival with folk music, artist's wares, and a homemade organic fall supper. This will become an annual event. A huge charity sale every Sept, where we buy granny toques and mitts.

I like fall and all it's beautiful colours. But I have to say I really hate that winter is so close. Like today I woke up to some flurries. REally not happy about that at all. It was pretty darn cold. I wish the fall was here to last a bit longer. Then we could have done a few more fall activities. The joys of Canada's North.
Thanks for the opportunity to win such amazing prizes.

For me it's all about chasing down Honey Crisp apples :D
For my extended family it's all about trips to the pumpkin patch, and then sending the pictures to me to scrap for them! *LOL*

I love to celebrate fall with apple cider or hot chocolate. I also LOVE getting out all of my fall decorations and sprucing up my house. I already have the decorations out but I live in Phoenix where it is still 95 degree so the apple cider and hot chocolate haven't really made their appearance yet.

We always go to a local farm to the pumpkin patch. They have inflatables (a big hit with my 5 yr old!), apple cider and hot dogs, HUGE pots of colorful mums, pony rides and a hayride to the pumpkin patch. We love it every year - there is such a comfort in traditional rituals at the holidays!

I love fall... I celebrate by partaking in all the pumpkin flavored foods... muffins, bread, concretes, beer etc. YUM YUM. As a family we always do the pumpkin patch and zoo in early fall. Oh I almost forgot we drive the great river road (along the Mississippi) when the leaves are at almost peak and usually get to see eagles also.

Fall is my favorite time of the year! We love to go apple picking, visit the pumpkin patch, play in the leaves, and bake all sorts of goodies! nothing like the smell of cinnamon and apples as you walk in the door....

We take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the fall colors and then spend the afternoon walking around Asheville, NC. My children are most excited about Halloween, though, so we start preparing for that in September.

Warm socks, hot apple cider, a morning walk on a cool, brisk day - listening to the sounds of the leaves under your feet..... the happy glow you feel when you think about holiday baking. Ah, mouth waters just thinking about the spice cakes and mullen spices.

We usually don't do anything out of the ordinary, the pumpkin patch and fresh cider and donuts is about as exciting as we get, but this year we were able to take a ride in a single prop plane over the town that my husband and I grew up in. Our boys (ages 4 & 6) thought it was way cool (so did we) and the fall colors were beautiful.

I decorate the house with fall colors, and we go for hikes when the leaves start to change. Also love going to the pumpkin patch!
