Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We celebrate fall by covering the globe on our antique light post with a huge Jack-O-Lantern. It has become a landmark in our small town that fall has officially arrived!

Today I am celebrating fall by admiring the first tree in the neighborhood whose leaves have changed colors. It sits right outside the window of my office, and give me a place to rest my eyes, my mind, and my spirit from the chaos of the day.

Fall is such a feast for the senses! I'm celebrating by taking in football, pumpkin and apple flavors, and soaking up the gorgeous colors and fall air. I'm also trying to scrap fall pictures from past and present while I feel the inspiration of the season!

we celebrate with my daughter birthday, then my birthday, then our anniversary, then a trip to our county fair, apple picking with lots of baking, cleaning up the yard...and just yesterday we had our first fire in the fire pit. it's lovely here in NH right now but snow just might fall tonight in the mountains!

I made my decorations this year out of scrapping supplies. I have pumpkin garland and a "Happy Fall" sign hanging up around the house.

Fall is one of my favorite times of year. We celebrate with trips to the pumpkin patch, apple picking, nice evening walks, carving pumpkins, making carmel apples, and decorating the house with fall colors.

We visit an apple orchard with a fun pumpkin patch. Carving pumpkins for Halloween. Having fun with the fallen leaves. My 4 year old loves Halloween so getting ready for Halloween is a big deal around here.

I love the fall. I can't seem to get enough crispy apples and delicious squash. The brightly colored leaves against a blue sky is just beautiful. Plus, pumpkins, cider, stew, chili, cozy blankets. It's a gorgeous time of year.

Fall is my favorite season. We're blessed with beautiful aspen trees with changing colors. I take lots of photos. I love to decorate my house with natural elements like mini pumpkins. I love fall because I think I slow down and notice the little changes in the season every day.

We love fall - the colors of the trees, the smells of apple cider donuts and hot chocolate, and the sounds of leaves crunching under foot (personally my favorite part!) We take the kids out so they could take pictures of the changing looks of their favorite places, hit a couple pumpkin patches, Halloween parties, and topped off with a serious game of football on Thanksgiving.

My favorite thing we do in the fall is harvesting our grapes! The whole family helps out, and it is always more fun than we think it will be. The air is crisp, the grapes smell wonderful, and when we're under the grape arbor we can pretend we're in our own little corner of Tuscany. Then we make the juice! It's the easiest canning process in the world, and the results are out of this world. We think of it as our own special kind of wine. Sublime.

We pull out the fall decor (which consists of two blankets and a bowl) and then spend our days looking out at the beautiful leaves, hiking in the crisp air and baking cookies and warm comfort food. Mmmmm.

We love fall here for so many reasons.
We celebrate our wedding anniversary, we love to start using the oven and crockpot more to make yummy meals that make the house smell so good, we open a window or two (or 10!) and enjoy the fresh air, we take in the beautiful multi coloured views of our town and of course we love Halloween.
It's a bit weird here as my 13yo hates dressing up but loves candy and my 9yo loves dressing up and trick or treating, but doesn't like candy (not quite sure where he came from :) ), so they have a deal worked out and my 13o "buys" all the 9yo's collected treats, so funny.

In Georgia, Fall comes in late October - just in time for Halloween! We "celebrate" by wintering the yard and flowerbeds, then decorating for Halloween. We don't have any kids, but have a blast in trying to maintain our reputation as the "creepiest house on the block". :)

I celebrate fall much like I celebrate the New Year. I like to make goals and feel that sense of renewal.

we always start Fall off by going to the pumpkin patch, with its corn mazes and hayrides. Fall is all about the cooler weather and spending time with family and friends. The kids also really love to play in the leaves and we have acres full of leaves for them to enjoy.
