Week in the Life : sharing samples + giveaway

A smile on my son's face when I woke him for school, laughing on the way out the door and watching him ride off to school on his bike, so proud of himself. He's growing up so fast. It's all good.

Today is sunny and the autumn leaves are beautiful!

There is something about waking up in the morning -- husband still asleep. Son is still asleep. Doggie still lays asleep...while I go about doing my morning routine: Get up. Brew coffee. Read email/blogs. And write down my To-Do-List for the day. One of my favorite times of the day

Good thing about today....it's pouring rain! A good day to stay inside and work on my book!!

Every day is a gift, and this one is no different. I have an infant daughter, and to see her quick smile first thing in the morning when she wakes up makes it hard to start off the day in a bad mood. Fall is here (where I live) for the most part, and the weather is beautiful. Many people are a bit uneasy at the moment because of the economic turmoil, the upcoming elections, financial struggles, etc. But let's not forget that if we have a healthy family, a roof over our heads, food in the fridge, and scrapbook supplies, we're wealthier than 98% of the world's population.
Today is a GREAT day!

Iv'e walked our local track for the last three weeks, six times around for a total of 3 miles. Today for the first time, when I got out of bed I felt good. Lots of energy & my body felt strong!!

It's raining!!! That's so good.

hmmmm, good about today? well its only 7am, and i'm already feeling the onset of morning sickness (yuck!) BUT i did hear my daughter jessica laughing in her sleep at five in the morning. that made me smile :)

my day today starts with a run with beautiful women who I have been running with for over five years. one celebrates her 50th birthday and so we will gather for coffee afterwards. one is at home recovering from a heart attack. we will drop flowers off to her to brighten her day and let her know we are thinking of her. it makes me so happy to have these wonderful friends in my life who at tough times band together and are there for each other. so special. hope you are having a wonderful wednesday! ciao!

Something good about today . . . seeing all those inspiring samples, hoping my pix are in my mailbox today so I can get started, watching America's Next Top Model on TV! That's 3 good things. Love the stamps!

its still too early in the morning to know whats good, but i do get cheesecake today! that could make it the best day of the last month by far!

The best thing about my day today will be cuddling up with my 3 year old and reading him a story!

I am thankful today to be a stay-at-home mom who can snuggle at home with my young children on this cold, rainy day in Illinois.

Those are some wonderful layouts and very inspiring. I hope to get started on my layouts today.
Good about today? Well, let's see... Oh! How about the fact that it's raining. Yes, raining. We haven't had rain in a couple of months so it is a very welcome sight. It started yesterday, and I remember inhaling the scent of wet earth and feeling the cool air on my skin. The snails came out in droves and we had to walk very carefully up the front walk to avoid crushing them.
Also, I will be meeting with friends today to discuss a book we just read. Friends, books, coffee, pastries; what more could a girl want? :~)

I had a good Mommy moment:
I almost forgot to give my daughter lunch money. As I pulled away from the school driveway, I realized it and took it in to the office to be delivered. Hopefully it will make her feel good that I remembered to do that and that she doesn't have to worry.

Today is a good because the people I love are alive and well. They are healthy, happy and here. Today is good because I woke up next to the man I love. Today is good because it is today. laura d
