Week in the Life : sharing samples + giveaway

The weather's cool...with a little rain. There's a cute pumpkin on my steps and gourds on my dining room table. Beautiful fall!

The best thing about today is my youngest daughter's first field trip in kindergarten. She is so excited!

My baby slept well 2 hours this morning! Definitely a good thing! :D

The best thing about today is I stayed up late last night to finish my work - so no work today!

I had a wonderful conversation with new friends over breakfast today. I have really enjoyed this project.

A good thing is the smell of the pumpkin bread baking in the oven. Fall is here!

The best thing about today is that it's a 1/2 day at school and then my kids get a 4 day weekend...hooray...sleepin' in, makin' halloween cookies.., and the joy in having kids to be with!!

I love seeing the posts on everyones interpretation of this project. Im currently dealing with the loss of my SIL on 9/29. At age 37 she lost her battle with ovarian cancer and Im just not able to get back into my groove. But it will come back soon, I hope. And I can get into completing this project. Thanks so much for sharing with us Ali and who knows , maybe once, i will win a giveaway !

Something good about today. . .This morning all 3 of my boys woke up in THE BEST moods! : ) ~They are often a little grumpy about waking up and getting ready for school etc. But not today. Today, I was greeted with snuggles and smiles. Just goes to show, it's the little things that warm a person's heart and makes their day! : )

Ali, I read your blog early this morning, and have been thinking about your challenge. First, I love this project and have joined in. I learned how to take better pictures with our new digital slr. I learned that my family truly wanted to help me with my project. I have a great family. I learned that there are people, like yourself, all over this world that are simply kind. Kind enough to post a project, share their comments, and basically encourage each other no matter where in "life" they may be.
Second, this is a good day because I am blessed to be home with my children. (They are 15, 13 and 12. We are a long time homeschooling family.) I am blessed to have a loving husband. We pondered this question today at lunch and the children began listing things that made today special. They each came up with a list too long to list here - which in itself makes today special!

Today is a good day because I can play with my new cuttlebug!! It arrived yesterday but I was to busy to even take it out of the box. I *heart* new scrapbooking toys :)

A good thing about today is finding out the tasks on my to-do list are being completed faster/easier than I expected and I am also looking forward to watching my son play soccer tonight!

It was 58 degrees when I walked out the door this morning and it felt wonderful!! The perfect weather for a pumpkin spice latte - yum!!

We are going to buy Halloween decorations for the yard because the kids have been asking everyday and they finally convinced me to do it!

Best part of today is the fact that my 14 month old slept through the night!! That has only happened once before. Plus, my husband let me sleep till 9 too. I feel amazingly refreshed today.

My little three month old boy slept from 8pm to 6am last night! That makes it a great day!!!

And goodness: watching the sunrise on my way home from dropping my son off @ cross country practice.

Went postpartum clothes shopping and found some great stuff. It's amazing how good a new pair of jeans makes you feel.

So far something good about today was sleeping soundly through the night (been waking with a cough for 3 weeks) and carpooling with my hubby to work. I can doze and he does the driving!
