i say a little prayer for all the folks who comment with such hatred and fear regarding this election outcome. (i mean really there are lots and lots of reasons to vote for obama vs. mccain --what is up with the negative commenters that mention "killing babies" as though we favor that if we voted for obama?)
the main reason i wanted to comment though is that i was pleased to find a scrapbooking blog by someone who wasn't a mean spirited christian or Morman(i use qualifying words, because i am a Christian) ...there seem to be few choices out there. time and time again when i click to links of scrapbooking blogs i find something of hatred and fear in their journaling and i leave. (this is also the reason i don't buy any scrapbooking magazines, so many of the spreads have similar journaling in them)

Help Ali's blog readers! There is a free downloadable for numbers (cute ones in circles with patterns in red, black, white and light blu/aqua) somewhere here that a reader created and shared. I can't find it! Aack! Anyone have any idea where? Thanks! Tess thetessaroo@yahoo.com

Hi Ali
Have never posted before though I visit the site daily. Just wanted to say I think you handle all life issues, including political ones, with grace and tact. Thanks for sharing so much of yourself with us. Blessings to your growing family.
Peace
Allyson

Ali...I don't know you really, only from what I read here. But I wanted to tell you that I think you are an incredibly graceful woman. Your reaction yesterday shows how gracefully and peacefully you live your life. I admire that in a person, it's not a quality I have. ;)

Ali, what happened to your big announcement? Maybe tomorrow?
Tess, I'm not sure, but the numbers you might be looking could be the ones on the flickr group?

Ali - hope you had a great birthday! It's a good day...two very close friends of mine celebrated their birthdays the same day...and what a memorable one at that. Enjoy documenting all that you feel - I think it's a wonderful thing!
p.s. love the pic of Simon holding the flag. gorgeous.

Hi Ali! I had a quick question for you! I have a huge family. I have 6 siblings and they are all married and they all have children. I would really like to make a mini album (something I can do quick) for Thanksgiving. Something that includes all of them. Do you have suggestions? What kind of projects are you doing for Thanksgiving? I can't wait to start my december daily album! I have everything together! Thank you!

Hi Ali - I was moved by the grace you displayed yesterday in response to comments. I love your blog and I am a regular visitor. During the holidays... I don't try to stay organized actually. I have worked hard to change my expectations so I have stopped trying to "create" magic and now try to experience the magic that already exists and unfolds in the season. Thanks

I read with great delight your blog each day and continually am amazed at peoples ability to create such negativity through commenting. I cried at the comments left on Tuesday because I felt they were left to hurt in particular you. For someone who gives so much inspiration and joy, it did not sit well at all and I feel an overwhelming desire to say sorry for those people who admonish without thought or care for others and how it may affect them. Ali, you are very adored, but more than that you graciousness is a gift that is equaled by few
I think the world over celebrated hope on Tuesday
