Happy.
First time on the computer for a few days. It feels good to do a little media-diet and get away from computers, TV's, etc. I started reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and have been having some quality family time. Next week I will be back at it again starting with day one of my December Daily on Monday.
Hope everyone celebrating Thanksgiving had a wonderful day + weekend.

I re-read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and I have such a different perspective on it as an adult vs. reading it in childhood. Such a great engrossing story. Hope you enjoy it and your family down time.

Thanks for the link to Shimelle. That will be a fun connections along with a December Daily and NaBloPoMo. It all works together and will help me refine some of my digi skills.

Oh, I loved A Tree Grows in Brooklyn! I read it for the first time just a couple years ago (somehow it wasn't ever an assignment in school), and know exactly why it is a classic. Such a beautiful, well-written story.
Hooray for family time! I think we all need a break from the digital/technological world now and then. Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I'm looking forward to the December Daily! :)

I've spent much quality time with family this weekend and not much time with the computer. Felt good. Can't wait to see what creative ideas you have in store for this very busy month looming ahead of us.

Hi Ali, I was so excited to be doing the December Daily this year but now I am really reluctant. My husbands best friend is one of the engineers killed in the accident over France and this has cast such a shadow. We can laugh at some things but this won't be the traditional december I had my heart set on. Help, Ali. Ireally don't know how to get going.
Love, Paula

I read your blog, but mostly lurk. But A Tree Grows In Brooklyn prompted me to comment:) I read it a few years ago, it took me alittle while to get into it. But it is one of my favorites. It definetly feeds your soul. Perfect for this time of year. I hope you love it.
