With the passing of a dear friend this past week, I have started my "bucket list." We found hers on the day she passed and it was so inspiring. She wrote 10 things and as her 10th it was to sit with a glass of wine and come up with 90 more things. Amazing woman. So to honor her my goals this next year is to Live Big! That was her motto. A few of the things I want to learn that have made it to my list so far is to learn to ballroom dance, knit/crochet, write a memoir about my family's history.

I would really like to learn how to knit. My grandmother makes handmade Christmas stockings with our names on them. Each one is different. They are so beautiful and so precious to me. I'd like to continue the tradition.

I would love to learn how to make my own digital cool stuff...not just keep buying it from others. I have taken JS very awesoe classes so I am getting savvy with the digital creations I just want to take the next step to creating my own.

Over the next 12 months, I intend to work on being present to those around me. Learning to breathe deep and take in the moment.. such a good and necessary skill that has gotten away from me. I don't intend to perfect this, but at least I'm aware and I can work on getting better!

In the next 12 mos. I would like to learn how to create a blog form a technical aspect from a more personal it would be to motivate my kids to accomplish their goals big and small and to remember/learn to think and deep breathe before I speak when the road gets rough.

In the scrapbooking area I'd like to learn more about editing my digital photos and doing some digital scrapbooking.
Around my house I'd like to learn more about cooking - techniques, using spices, etc. Hubby loves when I cook dinner and I'd like to add some new things to my routine.

I have been totally eyeing the Life Well Crafted class! What a great source for inspiration next year!
I would love to live a creative and artful life this year(and for the years to come). I have been reading Kelly Rae's book and learning that switching gears for that really is possible, even if you don't think it is. I would really love to learn more about what this looks like in my own life in the next 12 months.

In the next 12 months I'd like to learn how to play the piano better, how to use photoshop and how to better keep control of my chaos. But most importantly, I'd love to have a closer relationship to Christ - but I guess that's not a matter of learning but of grace :o)
