Wednesday Giveaways
Three great giveaways today. Look for a new December Daily post around noon pacific.

One A Life Well Crafted year long workshop at Big Picture Scrapbooking with Kolette Hall.
Begins January 1. $170 value. 12 months of audios, projects, layouts, live chats, etc.
2009 is the year for
the ultimate craft project: you. As requested, Big Picture Scrapbooking
is giving you Kolette Hall for an entire year. A Life Well Crafted
offers you 12 months of new topics, fresh projects, and live chats.
Plus, Kolette's husband Jason completes the team as the Halls motivate
and inspire us to live the very best life possible. Each week will
offer something new to enrich your life, inspire creativity, and share
your love of scrapbooking with those around you.
Big Picture is also offering an Audio-Only version of the workshop for those in our lives who aren't crafty but want to share the experience. The Audio-Only version is only $90 for the year or $10/month.
If the full-year workshop just feels like too much of a commitment you also have the option to register from month-to-month for $18/month.
Valued at over $100.00, this giveaway package from Peachy Cheap.
Includes product from Fancy Pants Designs, American Crafts, Basic Grey, Autumn Leaves, and My Minds Eye.
PeachyCheap is a retail site that offers deals up to 99% off on scrapbooking products. They offer one deal per day, one product per day; once the daily items are gone, they are gone. Lots of cool things each day over there.
One 12x12 canvas post-bound Hollycheck scrapbook valued at $27.95 from Butterfly Kisses.
Butterfly Kisses is Angi Smith's home site as a Close To My Heart consultant.
To be entered into today's drawings leave a comment below and share something you would like to learn in the next 12 months (could be craft-related or anything). Comments will be closed at 9pm Pacific tonight with the names posted shortly after.
Just a note that there are additional Family Gratitude Spinner kits available now through Cocoa Daisy. For more information on my online workshop through Big Picture Scrapbooking go here.

I would love to learn to use my photo shop program. I want to learn how to sit with my son's Aspergers and just live in the moment, even when the moments hurt. And I want to learn how to help my husband get through his health crisis... most of all I want to learn (continue to learn) to be happy in every moment because there is only now.

Three things:
-use photoshop beyond cropping and changing picture levels
-go into the scary Av, P, Tv, and M modes on my great Canon Rebel XTi! (getting a new lens for X-mas and I really need to start doing it justice)
-learn how to be a mommy to my 18 month old-his emerging independence is really making me feel like I'm the worst mom on the planet when everything seems to be a "no!" right now!

I still haven't given any digital elements a chance. (other than my camera) I would like to learn basics of incorporating digital techniques into my scrapbooks. I only have an older version of iphoto and I just haven't taken time to learn how to add details to photos. I am expecting a version of photo shop in the mail soon so hopefully I can start trying some things.

I would love to learn to seek balance in my life. I seem to be a bit out of control with my craftiness, when I should really just clean the house or snuggle my kids. Yeah. I need balance.

There are so many things I would love to learn, it's hard to say but since you asked I would have to say learn how to capture and record more meaningful things. I use to scrapbook every picture I took and would not really focus on details. I'm trying to see the small things and record them. Discovering your site a year ago has inspired me more then you know. Thanks Ali!
Thanks for the great giveways!

I would like to learn a lot of things - how to use alcohol inks from Ranger, how to incorporate my faith into scrapbooking, to learn the new canon camera we plan to buy this month (and how to take better shots), how to continue to simplify our belongings and life, how to recycle more of our garbage (and to find the appropriate containers for it too!!!), how to actually cook a turkey on my own (I'm thirty years old and still actually haven't done that!!!), to continue to learn to discipline myself in terms of time and event planning for our family of five. I could go on and on! There's so much more that I want to learn and do this year! :)

I would like to learn to let go of my perfectionism. It is so limiting and stressful to have everything "just so." Your saying has become one of my mantras: "Embrace imperfection." I am working on setting time limits for projects and chores, and also realizing that good enough is just that - good enough. Thanks for the great blog - I am loving my December Daily album and so are my sister and mom. Yes, I made three - BUT, I rejoiced in their flaws and uniqueness!

In the next year, I want to try and use some of the fun techniques with different products that you use as well as the various methods used on the 12 Tags example on the blog by Tim Holtz. I am also trying to constantly learn how to live the best life possible for me and my children so was looking at the Hall workshop as something I would like to do for me next year.

I'd love to simply learn to "relax" and to go with the flow a little more often. I sometimes feel frantic trying to document, record, get all the things done that I don't want to ever forget. The holiday season seems to bring on different emotions and I get a little too stressed. I love my life, but I need to learn to ...slow down down and enjoy the journey a little more.
