I dabbled in sewing this past year. I have a wonderful aunt who is an incredible teacher, but I have to admit that a lot of the time I got too nervous for some stitches and had her take over. Once I get my own machine I will be more comfortable to try, fail, and try again!

How to be more proficient in my SLR use...in the manual form, not just on auto :)

I'd like to learn how to use Photoshop! I've always just used Elements and with my new laptop I got the full version. I see so many neat things I could be doing with it, I really need to learn how to use it.

I just learned how to knit so next year I would like to learn how to do a sweater!!

I want to learn to play the guitar. And as always, better at time management. Maybe one day I will learn to do all I want...there never seems to be enough time.

I recently completed Karen Russell's photography workshop which has me ultra inspired and wanting to learn even more about photography! Also, learning another language has always been high on my list ! :-)

This next year I would like to learn how to letterpress things.

I would like to learn more about yoga. I have dabbled a little, but have a whole LOT more to learn and I know it involves a journey of self discovery. It goes hand-in-hand with my one little word - "balance."

In the next twelve months I want to learn two things--1) learn how to sew from more challenging patterns and re-learn how to load my bobbin on my machine and 2) how to live more peacefully. There are so many factors involved with the second one, I'm hoping to learn a lot more than just that.

I would love to learn how to help my husband with his new business venture. He needs me to do the business part so that he can concentrate more on the creative part. I think I should look into buying QuickBooks.

I would like to learn balance -- what to let go and what to keep, what to invest time in and what to pass by, what to love and what to ignore. Time is precious, and I want to spend it well. Balance tops my learning list for 2009.

I would like to learn how to take better photos. I need to get my camera out of auto and into manual.

I'm wanting to learn how to make marshmallows and to master bread making from scratch for once and for all! Silly, simple things, but it's always cool to accomplish even the trivial little goals, don't you think?! :) Love what you did with the mask!

I would love to learn more about photography. I want my pictures to have that WOW factor.
