Ali,
I haven't read your blog in the last couple of weeks, so I just saw your posts about your melanoma meetings. You are strong and brave. So are your husband. My thoughts go to you every day.
You encouaged me to check my own moles back in May 2008. Two of them had to be removed, but happily they tested OK. I will have my moles looked over every two years, just to be on the safe side.
You seem to have very good health care with regular meetings. I have faith they will find all melanoma in your skin and manage to remove it completely. My thoughts and love go to you often - I hope it makes a difference.

Hi, this is the first time I have read your blog. I just wanted to share that just this past August I had a mole removed on my chest that was melanoma, had another surgery a week later to remove all lymphnodes under my right arm because there were a couple that were positive for cancer. I had five treatments of radiation to that area and went through twenty days of Interferon. I have five young children and want another. I hope to learn from you through your experience and you may contact me at anytime if you need to talk to someone who is going through something similar.
I am curious to see what the doctors do for a pregnant patient. I hope you the best.
