at the end of my last pregnancy, i was dreaming about things i could clean. i really wish i had some of that umph now.

Sounds like a fun weekend! But I can understand, sometimes we just gotta put those socks in their place :) And your time will be limited when your baby girl gets here!

I remember those days & LOVED them. Nesting is awesome. My friends used to joke that I could come visit them b/c I was constantly cleaning/organizing something.

Trust me, it beats scrubbing the oven at 3am or cleaning out the towel and bed sheet cupboard at 5am. So excited for you!

You go - isn't that supposed to mean the baby will arrive soon, when you get a burst of energy?
We are experiencing such warm weather here in the Bay Area of CA it feels like spring. On tap for me today? Cleaning out drawers...and I am not even pregnant!

When we found out we were pregnant ..that's when MY nesting began.. oohh boy did my husband suffer!! honey move this.. honey move that...

My husband always teases me that I was determined to clean the cat box the morning I went into labor. I didn't do it because my water had broken and I was worried about bacteria but ohhh if I could have some of those hormones now! I'm sure the cat would be a lot happier!

Oh, boy...or, should I say girl! Nesting is exactly what I was doing when I went into labor early (three weeks). Here's to you, nesting, and all the wonderful things that are going to happen to you and your family this year (and soon)!

What a transition this will be, and how special that you share all this with us!
Our son has issues like Simon, which for us was part of the reason for not having any more children. That, and me being a very chaotic person. Nevertheless, we are a very happy little family :) I admire your ability for keeping things under control, as had been said before. The best thing is you don't even consider it to be special. Your children are so lucky to have you as a mother and role model. And last but not least: it takes a real man to give up his office and settle for a corner!

Goodness, I am think inot cleaning out my walk in closet but can't claim nesting, my youngest is 26! But my husband is gone for 2 weeks doing grandpa babysitting in the Midwest so I am totally empowered to do things my way! Loved your studio shots and looking forward to seeing the nursery!
